Popular Post 32EBoozer
OT Carter Warren: “They’re getting a physical, dominant player, who is great with his hands, is smart, a great football IQ,” Warren said. “He’s ready to work. He’s a hard worker, the hardest worker in the room. He’s ready to go to work.” Warren, who said he is 100 percent after his knee injury last year, said he is looking forward to blocking for new Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers. “It’s going to be a cool experience,” Warren said. “I know he’s all about ball and business. I’m the same. I’m ready to go to work. Whatever he needs from us, whether that be extra film work, on the field, off the field, I’m here to do it. I’m ready to get going.” RB Israel Abanikanda: They’re getting a running back that can break tackles,” Abanikanda said. “I can run in any type of scheme, outside zone, inside zone, under the center. I can also line up at slot, catch the ball and break away. I’m a home run runner with great ball security, as well.” “I feel like I always play with a chip on my shoulder because since I was young I’ve always been underrated,” he said. “Being underrated is not new to me. I just feel like that just motivates me and pushes me to the next level of my game.” Looking forward to see how both players look in camp. derp
Said it in the Warren thread - pick reminds me of Clemons last year. Dude is physically mature and was good in college but also got banged up a little and is older. Probably slipped a little because of the latter but the former means he might be ready to go off the bat. And another premium position there. Regarding Abanikanda, Pitt has an awesome track record with running backs and he’s probably the best athlete to come out of there recently. Think he slipped a little because he doesn’t have a good track record of evading tackles - but people who dig into that stuff have found that’s maybe been okay historically for guys who are fast and have lots of yards before contact, both boxes Abanikanda checks. He wins with vision and speed - and he’s young and already pretty big so he’ll continue to add weight. Maybe a little lightning and lightning 1-2 punch with him and Hall.

Seems to be trending towards the Jets making Carter a true 3rd down back in the James White mold, with Abanikanda and Bam as the primary backups to Hall if Hall gets hurt
rangerous
good picks. warren had some preinjury talent and abanikanda has some good running ability. i'm guessing warren would've been drafted much higher than where he was if he wasn't injured last season.
