Thanks for putting this together!

It’s the most talented and deepest team the Jets have had in a LONG TIME.  Several All Pro / Pro Bowl caliber players and many young players who are only going to get better.

I have a few differences:

1. I’d probably segment Slot WR & Slot Corner.

Lazard seems to be our Slot WR (or Y) while Wilson and Davis assume the starting X and Z.

Michael Carter is our Slot CB while Sauce mans the left side and DJ the right.

2. JJ and Clemons are both good setting the Edge while the Jets are less deep on the inside.  I think this pushes JFM to the inside (LDT) more often than not.

3. Left Edge:  JJ & Huff

4. Right Edge:  Lawson, Clemons, McDonald (who will take over for Lawson next year)

5. Tippmanm will be given every chance to start on the inside.  He’s a big upgrade calling out blocking assignments (high football IQ, good communicator) and is stronger in pass pro.

6. Strong Safety:  Whitehead, Clark

7. Free Safety:  Adams, JBC

8. RT:  Mitchell ahead of Ogbuehi

9. LB:  For practical purposes, I believe Sherwood and Clark will fight it out for the Kwon Alexander role.  Sherwood will be the primary backup for Mosley and Quincy.

The problem with laying it out this way (and for the record I agree on a lot of the 'tweaks'), is that there are so many variables prior to the start of the season that will specifically impact these 'fringe' positions before the start of the season that its simply too early to tell.

I think this is a good layout without inserting personal opinions as to where some of the 'fringe' guys will/should start or fill roles. Personal opinions are great, but I think the OP was trying to avoid that.

For example, I think everyone knows neither Clark nor Whitehead will be playing FS. But that is just how our safety depth stacks up. Too early to be figuring out if Clark will play LB and who will man the FS position- IMHO. I'm sure @Sarge4Tide will come out with another  updated roster once things are a bit clearer.
