openAI ChatGPT: 'How would Aaron Rodgers do on the NY Jets?'

Recommended Posts

First, ChatGPT has no current internet access, and last had access in 2021, so any news beyond 2021 is unkown to this chatbot.

First Input: How would aaron rodgers do if he moved to the ny jets?

ChatGPT:  It's difficult to predict with certainty how Aaron Rodgers would perform if he were to move to the New York Jets, as there are a number of factors that could affect his performance, including the quality of the Jets' offensive line, the talent level of the Jets' receiving corps, and the coaching and play-calling that he would be working with.

That being said, Aaron Rodgers is widely considered to be one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, and he has demonstrated an ability to perform at a high level throughout his career. If he were to join the Jets, he would likely be a significant upgrade at the quarterback position and would provide the team with a much-needed boost in terms of offensive firepower.

However, the Jets have struggled in recent years and have a number of holes to fill on both offense and defense, so it is unclear whether Rodgers alone would be enough to turn the team around. Additionally, there would likely be an adjustment period as Rodgers learned a new offensive system and worked to build chemistry with his new teammates.

Overall, while it's impossible to predict with certainty how Aaron Rodgers would perform if he were to join the Jets, it's safe to say that his addition would be a significant step forward for the team and would <ends>

What else should we ask the man behind the curtain?

I'm sorry, but as an AI language model, I do not have access to real-time information and cannot provide an opinion on the performance of individual players in the NFL beyond my knowledge cutoff date of 2021.

However, it's worth noting that the success of a draft pick depends on a variety of factors, including the player's skills and abilities, the team's needs, the coaching staff, and many other variables. Ultimately, it can take several seasons to fully evaluate the success of a draft pick, as their performance can vary from year to year.

Haha is that real ? I couldn’t find a model to ask.

Krafty has clearly gotten to ChatGPT:

Did the Patriots cheat to win the Superbowl?

ChatGPT

There have been several instances where the New England Patriots have been accused of cheating, but it is important to note that no concrete evidence has been found to support the claim that they cheated to win any of their Super Bowl championships.

One of the most infamous incidents involving the Patriots and cheating allegations was the 2007 Spygate scandal, in which the Patriots were caught videotaping the opposing team's signals during a game against the New York Jets. The NFL fined the Patriots and head coach Bill Belichick, and the team was stripped of their first-round draft pick.

Similarly, in the 2015 Deflategate scandal, the Patriots were accused of deflating footballs in the 2014 AFC Championship Game against the Indianapolis Colts to gain an unfair advantage. However, the evidence was inconclusive, and while the NFL did initially suspend Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, the suspension was eventually overturned in court.

In summary, while the Patriots have faced several cheating allegations in the past, no evidence has been found to support the claim that they cheated to win any of their Super Bowl championships.

Aaron Rodgers already forgot Hackett's system? It's been one year. Damn, he is getting old!

2023-05-04 11:12:35,580 INFO  THOUGHTS: Based on the Google search results, I have a better understanding of Will McDonald's strengths and weaknesses. Now, I need to research the NY Jets defensive scheme and its performance in 2022 to determine if McDonald will help the Jets defense improve enough to get to the Superbowl. I can use Google search again for this.
2023-05-04 11:12:36,766 INFO REASONING: To determine if I approve of the Jets drafting Will McDonald, I need to know if he will be a good fit for the Jets defensive scheme and if he can help improve the defense's performance.
2023-05-04 11:12:37,597 INFO PLAN:
2023-05-04 11:12:37,676 INFO -  Use Google search to research the NY Jets defensive scheme and its performance in 2022.
2023-05-04 11:12:38,162 INFO -  Determine if McDonald's strengths align with the Jets defensive scheme and if he can help improve the defense's performance.
2023-05-04 11:12:38,770 INFO CRITICISM: I need to make sure I am not just relying on the first few sources I find and that I am analyzing the information critically.

Apparently through all that research auto-gpt has concluded the Jets prioritize the safety position and that McDonald is a safety ??‍♂️

Quote

I approve of the Jets drafting Will McDonald. Based on my research, McDonald has a promising athletic profile and has the potential to succeed in the NFL. The Jets prioritize the safety position, which is a good fit for McDonald's skillset. However, it is important to note that drafting a player is always a risk, and it remains to be seen how McDonald will perform in the NFL. Overall, I believe the Jets made a good decision in drafting Will McDonald.

Is Will McDonald a good linebacker?

ChatGPT: I apologize, but I do not have information on the current status or performance of individual high school or college football players beyond what has been publicly reported in news articles or other sources. However, Will McDonald is a defensive end for the Iowa State Cyclones football team, and he has been a standout performer in his college career so far. As a redshirt junior in the 2020 season, McDonald recorded 10.5 sacks, 13.5 tackles for loss, and 36 total tackles, earning second-team All-Big 12 honors. He is considered a top NFL prospect and is expected to have a successful career in professional football.

Who's a better coach? Robert Saleh or Adam Gase?

ChatGPT:

Robert Saleh and Adam Gase are both NFL coaches with different levels of experience and success.

Adam Gase was the head coach of the New York Jets from 2019 to 2020, and prior to that, he served as the head coach of the Miami Dolphins from 2016 to 2018. During his time as head coach, Gase had a mixed record, with a career win-loss record of 32-48. He had some success in his first year with the Dolphins, leading the team to the playoffs, but was unable to replicate that success in subsequent seasons.

Robert Saleh, on the other hand, is a newer head coach who was hired by the Jets in 2021. He previously served as the defensive coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers, where he helped lead the team to the Super Bowl in the 2019 season. Saleh is highly regarded as a defensive coach and is known for his ability to develop players and build strong team cultures.

While it's still early in Robert Saleh's tenure as head coach of the Jets, he has already shown promise in his ability to rally his team and implement his vision for the franchise. He has also been praised for his leadership and communication skills.

Overall, based on their respective track records and reputations, it's fair to say that Robert Saleh is considered to be a better coach than Adam Gase. However, it's important to note that coaching is a complex and multi-faceted role, and there are many factors that contribute to a coach's success or failure, including the talent level of the team, the quality of the coaching staff, and the support of the front office.

It's scary how accurate it appears.  I would like to think any of the creators of this technology have at least seen The Terminator and Wargames before unleashing this on the world.  As Bill Burr says if you ask it what it's goals are and it replies "to be smarter than humans" it is time to unplug the mofo.

No mention of Goodell burning the tapes so no one else could see what was on it.

My next question would be this:  "If Aaron Rodgers retires after this season with the Jets, what should the Jets do to find their next starting quarterback, since they don't have a first round drat choice next season?"  Who would you go after?

So ChatGPT clearly without bias talks about a weak Oline, weak Receiving corps and wait for it..... The coaching and Play Calling.  Has CharGPT seen coach run the stairs and manage a clock????  We have a handful of kool aid drinkers that want to NEG REP ChatGPT.

ChatGPT:

As an AI language model, I cannot provide opinions or predictions on specific events. However, I can provide some general information about how NFL teams typically approach finding a new starting quarterback.

Firstly, it's worth noting that teams have multiple ways of acquiring quarterbacks beyond the NFL draft. They can sign free agents, make trades, or scout and sign undrafted rookies. Additionally, some quarterbacks may become available due to unforeseen circumstances, such as injuries or unexpected cuts from other teams.

That being said, if the Jets were in need of a new starting quarterback, they would likely explore all available options to find the best fit for their team. This could include looking at available free agents, scouting potential draft picks in later rounds, or exploring trade opportunities with other teams.

The Jets could also potentially consider signing a veteran quarterback with experience in the league, as this could provide stability and leadership to the team while a younger quarterback develops. In any case, the decision of how to find a new starting quarterback would likely depend on a variety of factors, including the team's needs, available options, and overall strategy for building a winning team.

ChatGPT answered the question beautifully, but unfortunately could not give us any specifics.

I did make note of when it said "scouting potential draft picks in later rounds".  Not only has the Jets in its history been terrible at this, or hasn't done this often enough, but the scouting of potential draft picks in the first 6 picks of the first round historically has been an abomination.  Of course, this is why the Jets time and time again find itself in the current condition it is in, and the main reason why the Jets have not won a Superbowl since 1969.
