It’s rarely a good thing when the guy with 100 posts starts his 40th thread, yet here we are…

Fine I’ll post it.  Your welcome.

“He is going to have to suck it up, practice, practice, practice, hustle, learn and all that time just keep his mouth shut. He has been handed a very, very tough road to travel. Maybe he comes out the other side, maybe he doesn’t. If it does, it’ll be a hell of a story,” Francesa said according to the New York Post.

“He earned the place he’s got now. He was that bad. So, he has got to put in the time, learn his craft, work on his footwork, learn how to quarterback. He’s going to get a chance to watch and see how one of the greatest quarterbacks in history prepares.”

Maybe physically.

The most important thing is who does he compare to between the ears.

If it’s Hurts then damn the Colts got a stud.

Should be something along the lines of "You played like sh*t. Keep your mouth shut. Soak up everything you can from your new god, and learn. Get good, because you haven't earned sh*t otherwise. This is all true despite any dysfunction that may have surrounded you". I think that sums it up, or at least should I didn't read what Mike had to say.

There is no comparison between Wilson and Richardson coming out of college.  None. Zippo.  Not physically.  Not the number of college games played.  Not their style of play.  Not their college stats.  Not the type of school they played for.  Nothing.

Zach needs to embrace this and spend every day ingraining footwork and technique into his soul.

Make it natural and second nature.

If would be very cool if in two years we have a seamless transition from Rodgers to Rodgers 2.0

I agree, but that seems like very wishful thinking. Certainly not impossible. Wilson has the attributes, the arm talent, the mobility. His struggles have been above the shoulders, learning how to play the game, making the right decisions, and demonstrating maturity as a leader.

He’s in a very interesting spot now. Typically, if you were trying to reset a quarterback, let him sit and learn, you wouldn’t be choosing to do that in his third year of a four year contract. You might also tend to have a veteran quarterback and new OC who are focused a bit on that young quarterback’s development. But that’s not the case here. Rogers isn’t here to be a mentor, Nathaniel Hackett isn’t here with the primary objective of developing Zach. Those two guys have been brought in to win now with a young and capable team. It really puts a lot on Zack to own his own development, listen and learn….. which I think is a good thing.

Anthony Richardson at least has world class physical gifts

Zach wilson is just some dude from canyon corner Utah who failed his way up

I actually think there is a lot of comparables between the 2.

Both are physically gifted. Both have good mobility. Both can sling the football 65 yards with ease. Yet Neither of them can complete the most basic of passes.

Both were 1 year wonders. Both we’re massively overhyped and over drafted.  Both could have some amazing throws and then would follow it up by missing a wide open wr in the flat by 15 yards. Both are wildly inconsistent and innacurate

I honestly can’t see any scenario where Richardson will become a franchise qb. Literally everything would have to go right for him. He’s super athletic but that   means nothing

The exact same message we've been saying since AR became a real possibility.  And something painfully obvious of course ZW knows exactly this.

But let's label it as "blunt" and "honest".

"Mike Francesa has an obvious truth bomb in this article, just click." - Water is wet.

The extent of Wilson’s physical tools is among the most exaggerated hyperbole currently in sport.

Is the point of the Richardson image to show a person that has less accuracy than Zach Wilson ?
