Black Friday Game: Jets host Dolphins on Prime Video

Recommended Posts

One of the most ridiculous notions our there, a day essentially invented strictly to spur on gross over spending and consumerism.

As if there was not tons of days like that already on the calendar but nope, let's hoodwink people into accepting what is now a 'legit' day on the calendar.

Pathetic.

The irony of that is if things play it the right way - people might be spending several hundred dollars per ticket and upwards of 100 dollars to park their car to go to this game.

Could prob buy an 85 inch tv at bestbuy for less money than going to this game.

Actually it was just the day that retailers went from being in the red to being in the black due to traditional Christmas shopping

I figured we would get the Black Friday game....Amazon was going to want a large market involved in this stand alone game.

Thought it might have been the Chiefs @ Jets game to really give Amazon the ratings...but Dolphins should be a good draw on a national scale too....just not as good as the Chiefs would have been.

If people are dumb enough to spend their holidays standing on lines to buy overpriced garbage that's on them I guess what's gross is all these retailers now staying open on all holidays and forcing employees to work.

Now it is gross to stay open on the Friday after Thanksgiving and "forcing employees to work?"  Isn't that what employees are supposed to do?  How about this:  If everybody did their shopping on Black Friday then stores would not have to stay open on Christmas or Christmas Eve.  Seems like a win-win to me.
