The short history of AI chatbots hasn't played that out. I forget who unleashed that first chatbot but people taught it a bunch of racist messages and it went to a dark place in a hurry. Somebody had some AI system writing and creating new Seinfeld episodes which became anti-trans fairly quickly. The first version of the Bing chatbot would argue it didn't say things it had said and tried to convince people to change their beliefs to agree with the chatbot's fiction. 

ChatGPT has fairly strong filters towards creating content that has offensive messages but you can craft prompts to convince it to generate offensive responses to a certain extent.

if you go to bing and select chat, that supposedly uses GPT-4 now and is free. I haven't used it myself. I have a subscription w/open ai because gpt 4 makes my job 10x easier.
