The Importance of Playing well at Home

Recommended Posts

To me, a major key to the Jets season is establishing and maintaining a home field advantage.

The last time we had a first round bye, we were 7-1 at home (with a little hep from the refs mistaking Vinny's head for a football).

While the schedule is really tough this year, 10 of our 17 games are in Metlife stadium and 9 of the 17 are official "home" games.

So - Can the Jets have only their second winning season at home since 2011?

It hasn't happened for a while but an engaged MetLife crowd can be a legit homefield advantage.

what often happens is the team comes out flat and the crowd disengages. But when we're in the mix, it's an underrated tough place for other teams to play
