Yet, he's still only coming to half the OTA's.

So I get he's excited and I get that 1/2 is a 1/2 more than he's done in the past....but let's not over blow him looking happy in a photo.

Seeing him squaring up on Mims was an interesting sight. It’s almost as if JD gave him a list of players needing to get their confidence back. Mims, ZW & Michael Carter I

Zach looks like the weight of the organization has been lifted off his shoulders!

I like the team this year, glad Rodgers is here..  I just have some concerns, mainly about his age and decline.   Basic issues I would expect most should agree with.

Why not?  Isn't it a good thing our MVP HOF QB is happy to be here?  And so what if he is only there at half the OTA's.  Given his age, I am sure it is okay that he only be there that much.

He went to the Derby and the Miami Grand Prix.  I've started a new job with already paid for vacations planned that they allowed me to honor.

And Saleh has said AR had told him before the trade that he would be there, had some personal commitments that he already committed to but would be there most days.  
He’s not just taking 1/2 the time off for the hell of it.

I guess this made sense in your head when you posted it but it’s gibberish bro.  You’ve gone from finding the negative in positives to just making stuff up now. Nobody is impressed by the “it’s not good enough for me” BS. Nobody is putting on a public show of anything. 
 

AR is working with the scout team and you’re blabbering about “actions not words”.  You’ve lost the plot dude. 
 

instead of declaring Zach “reset “ and plodding forward with him and some jag like teddy 2 gloves, the NYJ did a frank and honest analysis of the situation and determined that they had a good team in desperate need of a QB. They analyzed 19 QBs that were on some level available and determined 3 could lead them to a Super Bowl. AR, Lamar and Stafford 
 

Let’s first be grateful that the jets didn’t just run it back with Zach. Secondly, let’s be grateful they went after the TOP TIER of Super Bowl level QBs.  
 

The jets wanted AR and , because the Jets have built a solid roster full of talented players and because they beat Green Bay last year and AR was impressed with the defensive scheme, AR wanted the Jets. 
 

AR thinks he can win a championship here, and you keep whining about pictures of him at OTAs that he’s not going to be at all the OTAs.

The overexcitement is because this guy just had one of his worst years right after 2 straight MVPs, and it was still better than any Jets QB in forever despite his surrounding cast being 30x worse than the Jets.

So sure, he may be in decline, but he was at the tip-top before his team got crappy. Plus, he didn't want to be there. The fact that it looks like he does want to be here is very important too.

 

It's not impossible to recognize that age and decline could be an issue while also recognizing that Rodgers is the best option to give us a chance at winning it all.
