Sports Book App Insights?

Recommended Posts

***Apologies to the Mods if this is in the wrong forum, but was not sure where to post this.***

It's nearly impossible to find unbiased or non-conflicted information on the various legal sports book apps that are constantly advertised on TV and endorsed by the pro sports leagues. I imagine a great many JN members bet legally (and responsibly) and might have insights to share on what are the most player friendly apps available.

The reason I'm posting is because I have used BetMGM for 3 years or so and was quite happy with it until recently. They use to be very generous with Free Bets. I typically would use them on a variety of Future Bets that have paid off nicely.

Perhaps because of this (i imagine many throw free bets at longer odd futures) - this year they have dramatically throttled down the number of Free Bets they hand out. And when they do, it's a useless $2 Free Bet (used to be $10, sometime $25).

My question to the forum: Is this happening across sports book sites? Are there any sites that are more player friendly than BetMGM? Very curious to hear if others are experiencing a similar crackdown on promotions and bonuses on other sites as well.

Now that you bring it up I do notice a scale back of free bets on fanduel as well.

niw admittedly, my action is lower amounts in non football related betting so that possibly could be a factor.

there are prob algorithms tracking your action and if not hitting the upper limits, maybe that affects the offers

Be careful with free bets as some of them expire and if they expire before they resolve they void. I would not use free bets on futures IMO because of this.

My Future Bets have all paid out on MGM the last few years. Have never had an issue with that. In fact, I've done very well with them (especially w/ Rams two years ago) - I'm wondering if others play them the same way and they are on to it. Might be a big liability for the books.

Not all betting sites have the same rules... Just so you know...
