What's the "red flag" with Young?  Is it injury or attitude because it makes no sense to  want to trade a young pass rusher

Chase Young has played in 5 fewer games than Yodney Cajuste over the past 2 seasons.

trade a young pass rusher

9 sacks in 3 years over 27 games. Injury and hasn't lived up to the hype.

Because he’s still young and has potential, he’a going to get paid top dollar. If they can get a good package, why not trade him away?

Are we all IN or not?!

If the Jets don't open the checkbook for this guy than we really have no desire to win the SB!

C’mon man. You don’t even believe that

If the Jets don't pick up Adams, Hopkins, Cook, Young, and Bridgewater, then they aren't really all in and the Rodgers acquisition will be a waste!!/s.

And anybody who says the Jets don't have the cap space for these transactions just doesn't understand NFL salaries or how the cap works!!/s

The Jets need to be all in for a one year go for broke run at a SB title.  This is all justified because the Jets haven't made the playoffs since 2010 and haven't won a SB in forever.  It is all worth it for one season of competitive football. I just want to be entertained in 2023.  I don't care about the next 5-7 seasons after that. /s

If JD doesn’t make this trade, it proves that we aren’t all in this year.

Well done, JN.  Well done.

Not an immediate need, but just imagine.

Imagining a bust is easy. We already have one in Wilson.

Check Young’s pro record to-date. He’s not the special player he was supposed to be. His career so far shows him to be soft, limited in his rush tool-kit, and not exactly a team-first guy.

Another over-hyped “generational” player whose been anything but.

Adams? Which Adams? Teddy would be a good addition. Hopkins ain’t coming here. We don’t need Cook. Young is worth the shot in the dark. We still need to restructure Mosley, look into another lb or two, figure out what to do with Davis, trade or cut a few OL guys and get another safety. We got plenty of time to round this thing out. And Q is getting I’d say 22M a year at least.

Q Williams is easy getting 25 million per year, and he deserves it.    Adams must be one of the Adams family - maybe uncle Fester , or Lerch.( no other Adams on the trade block)       With amount of injuries Jet had on offense line this is not the time to cut or trade anyone.   You let training camp figure out your offense line and depth.   Then you think of trading excess offense lineman that aren’t going to make your roster.    Getting the offense line right is more important than getting a Lb or a safety .

We should not only be happy we didn’t draft him, we should also be happy we honestly don’t need to even remotely consider taking a chance on him.

25 M. Definitely. Not a penny less. But Jets have like 6 tackles so a few will shake loose. I’m sure they will reconfigure the LB’s one way or the other and probably add a safety (Buddy Baker)? Oh still don’t know what Adams they talking about. Maybe it’s my childhood friend from way back who will be playing Gomez Adams in Netflix version of the Adams family. You go Louie!
