It’s amazing the guy hasn’t missed a game his 6 year career in Baltimore….comes to the Jets and tears an ACL in OTAs.  The luck we have with injuries is just stupid, and it’s getting old.

It's about that time to sell our souls...

It's incredible.

Duane Brown last year - played an entire career without any major injuries - comes here and immediately tears his rotator cuff.

wait until it happens to 39 year old Aaron and everyone acts like it's surprising

there's a Wall St phrase that applies here past performance is no guarantee of future returns

Brett Favre was an ironman until he tore his biceps during the Mangenious's last season

Aaron Rodgers was an ironman, and at some point, he won't be anymore

What I'm trying to say is I'm fairly sure we're going to see Zach at some point, and it won't go well

it's not that incredible when the GM is acquiring guys with their best football behind them

Clark is a 28 year old safety. This has been going on for years.

Nothing to do with age. Just bad luck.

you know what NFL stands for? Not For Long.

Chuck Clark is 28 in human years, in Safety years he's a grandpa

God you are just a miserable human being... How do people not just love you at parties? I bet you get all the women with your extensive knowledge of Football players on their first or second contract after the rookie deal.

Not sure what you expect from free agency but you don't get 24 or 25 year olds in FA, unless you vastly overpay which you hate as well... So basically unless they get some unicorn for under market value after they had their rookie contract but not sign him for too long as he doesn't age out of his contract... You will be negative and miserable, yet every team in the NFL does the same thing and some still win superbowls...

I think you need to take some time off from the Jets.

I believe the average age for all NFL players is 26.

the idea that a typical 28 year old safety is a “grandpa” is preposterous

He can't drink beer or eat pizza. Can you blame him for being a miserable prick?

One of the reasons it’s hard for me to get fully optimistic. We are cursed. The injuries are comical at this point.

it's not 100% certain he's a miserable person.

i think a big chunk of his enjoyment is to see the Jets do poorly.  it's like dark humor.

You are right but I am also right that this is the best option available for us. That's the price of whiffing in epic fashion with the #2 overall pick. I am glad they didn't just accept sucking and do nothing, though.
