Jake Asman ...

Love Jake but damn that Revis interview was rough and cringe (Not because of Jake though) Revis gave b Marsh a better interview and that “wait for the documentary” Revis kept making made me want to vomit up my cheeseburger.

Love Jake though the shadow realm stuff is YouTube GOLD 😂😭🤣

yea it was a tough one to try and understand Revis' train of thought-it was almost like "maybe he's high" but I think it's that he's just one of those people who are always thinking about how to better themselves as aa way to capitalize and make more $$$

He's okay, a bit of a homer on his views.

Also does he live in Houston or something?    Half his content is Jets and the other half Houston Texans or there abouts?

he is on espn doing houston radio...he does jets sh*t from him house in his free time. i think he hopes to get hired by a NY station and come back home.

What I like the most about Jake is he will always call out those who on the stupid morning Sports Talk Shows (on ESPN and wherever else they're on) who continually deal in hyperbole, headlines, and simply just making $hit up. The Shannon Sharpes, Skip Brainless, Colin Coward, ("Jets fans are dopes" for not knowing Adam Gase will be a great head coach) as well as a lot of the guests who go on these shows and who are seemingly asked to say something controversial. Even Mike Tannenbaum went on last month and makes this ridiculous comment saying that Saleh by giving the team a week off, ( it might've been 3 days), dropped his grade of what the Jets have done so far this off-season from an A to an F. Jake's show as well as the Jets fans who listen do not suffer fools. He will put them in his Shadow Realm of idiots. He is a guy who's quick to laugh and knows his stuff.

My prediction is with his 30,000+ listeners as well as the guests he's starting to attract, it won't be long before Jake is given a prime time TV/radio slot in a chair in NYC, instead of his talents being wasted in friggin Texas . He has this guy named Gator who does a lot of the stuff like Panzer used to do here and he is funny's all hell. It's a cool concept but nothing that is groundbreaking or new where the callers being a big part of the show. As we all know Jets fans are among the smartest and most plugged-in fan base of them all. Oh yea he also has this guy named "Rich" an old crotchety dude with a mustache who sits in a dark room somewhere in North Carolina and calls in a few times a week and he's my favorite Jets fan who calls the show (Southern Jet).

We are counting down to July 19th when camp opens and in the words of old #57: "Can't WAIT!"

Jake is now on ESPN it seems.  Saw something quoting him and it credited to ESPNs Jake Asman.  I checked and he covers national sports out of Houston.  Maybe he’s going to be the replacement for Cimini down the road

Curious to see if he makes that transition does he still go after the moronic types and takes in the media.

Dude is ascending... I kind of poo pood this guy earlier this year ... But I have to say... This kid is a hustler.

Revis and Klecko exclusives during this dead time ... testament to his hard work.

Anyway .. nothing going on these days so I thought throwing him some props was in order.

Not sure a fan replacing Cimini is going to happen ... don't think fan and unbiased reporting mix.

He’s not just a fan.  He’s a fan working for ESPN.  Who earned his bones doing a YouTube thing following the team.  It’s a gig with ESPN.  It’s a perfect fit.

Why is it unbiased reporting when he discusses the Texans?  Or any other football team?

I don't listen to his content for Houston .. has he stated he is a fan of the team ?

Some people could interpret a self proclaimed fan reporting o  their team of choice as pandering to 'group think'.  Something you never want in reporting. (Though its obvious by today's news sources , that this idea has faded away over time)

he can't cover the beat and be a fan of the team, and he is a huge jets fan. his future gig may be on WFAN doing one of those afternoon shows, or maybe mornings...that seems like the right fit.

Where is this written?
We know that every beat writter is not also a fan who drifted into the job

I do agree his best spot would be on a FAN or even as a panel member on ESPN.

You couldn’t make the same argument that a fan of the Dolphins or Pats wouldn’t be a part of group think in a negative way for the Jets?

I agree, but the vids are too long. Especially when he has daily content. Ten minutes per day is plenty.

IOW:  You're either a troll or you've never watched any of his YouTube shows

Not a troll. I watch several Jet YouTube channels and he reminds me of Schein. Just my opinion. Thanks for the response.
