32EBoozer
We all feel pretty confident that the Jets will be sending their #1 pick to GB next year…. Leaving us with our 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 4th(Denver), 6th, 6th(Comp), 7th(Comp), 7th(Comp). JD has some assets I believe he’d be open to trade. If he can get Corey Davis contract down into the $6m range I think we could get a 3rd. Bryce Hall could land us a 6th. Huff could get us a 4th. I realize next year’s Draft is a long way off, but a good GM is always looking 1 season ahead. JD will want that 1st round pick back. Loading up on draft capital could allow him to trade back into the 1st round. It’s risky trading depth at WR & Edge, but if we get off to a slow start, these will be the guys getting moved. Maybe even Lawson or Hardman, if one of the rookies shows promise (Gipson or Kapp) New York Jets draft picks 2024 1st round pick GB receives NYJ 2024 1st if Aaron Rodgers plays 65% of snaps in regular season 2nd round pick GB receives NY conditional 2024 2nd as part of Aaron Rodgers trade 3rd round pick 4th round pick 4th round pick (DEN/MIA) NYJ received an undisclosed 2024 4th in Jake Martin trade w/ DEN 6th round pick

He might play into the compensatory algorithm if he leaves in FA 8 minutes ago, Dunnie said:

They made the trade in 2022 and got a 2024 4th for their 2024 5th. That is why there is no 5th up there. The Broncos have the Dolphins 4th as part of the pick swap during the Bradley Chubb deal. Not sure which we get. They don't have a 7th because they moved that for Chuck Clark.
Sperm Edwards
I can't see Davis garnering a 3rd from anyone, even at $6MM. Hardman is not getting traded. They signed him to actually play/use him, not to flip him into a day-3 draft pick after the season. Bryce Hall might get a 6th-7th, but they'd have had a better chance of that before he basically got benched all of last year. Playing the last 4 games on specials during the team's all-losses slide isn't going to garner a ton of interest. If he gets any decent amount of playing time elsewhere, then the team acquiring him would be in line for a comp pick themselves down the road. I expect no trades on any of them individually, but Douglas has gotten some teams to make some real head-scratchers so you never know. Ghost
I just cannot understand the logic behind even remotely thinking about trading Huff.

I think the Hardman talk goes along with the deal they made with Martin last year. They sign a bunch of these lower tier guys as a floor before the draft. If things go well and the younger guys work out they should consider moving some of these guys that are not in the long term plans. I think it will be more likely with offensive line than anywhere else. They added Schweitzer and Colony early. Then they drafted Tippman and Carter Warren and signed Turner and McGovern back. That is a bunch of NFL level bodies. They have too many solid interior linemen, so I can see moving them, and if Mitchell and/or Cajuste looks solid in camp and Becton remains healthy I can see them being willing to move a tackle. This team isn't at the youth movement/tank stage like 2020 when they dumped McClendon, Jordan WIllis and Avery Williamson for low picks. They should be wanting to keep anybody that could help to win in case of injury. Still, if they have guys they love languishing on the practice squad it might make sense to move somebody.
VERMONT JET
Not trading Huff ! Not trading a proven game wrecking pass rusher for an unknown 2024 4th round pick. Now you want to give me another proven young player at a position of need then we can talk.
GreenFish
I’m not a fan of trading good players for picks at this stage. We have 8 picks next year. Another day 3 pick is not moving the needle. None of those guys will even get us a day 2 pick. We likely wont have a 1st rounder next year. No to trading Huff, Davis etc. If we can get something/anything for Bryce Hall or Mims. Fine.
