Breece Hall had his surgery 8 months ago.

I don't care how badly he wants to go back to 100%, it would be gross negligence by the Jets organization to allow him to be a full practice participant at this point. Frankly, I'd rather he not be activated until October.

It's usually 10 months to recovery plus 6 weeks to be activated. I think that is what happens here. Even then odds are against him being what we saw last year.

Unfortunately true.  The track record of how guys perform the next year off his injury is pretty discouraging.

Good news is even if we don’t see the Breece of ‘22 this season he has a great shot at returning to form in ‘24.

Less then 0% chance breece misses a snap to start the season, let alone 6 games.

Breece is healthy, ready to go and carry the load all season.

I agree, no need to rush him back into anything at this point.

Means nothing.  Last year a few guys were put on PUP for 1 day when camp started.

It MIGHT mean nothing bc he can be taken off of it anytime. But how many times have we've seen a guy nurse an injury all camp, hold out on a contract, etc and when it's Week 1 (or let's say the 1st few weeks) they get injured bc they're not in football shape (a lot of the time it's hamstring). Because they missed all of camp pretty much. Doing work on the side doesn't prepare you for what regular season football throws at you.

So this means nothing if he's getting regular work in the next 2 weeks. But it 100% means something if he's not practicing regular with no restrictions in the next couple weeks.
