Elijah Moore ..... Denzel Mims ...... or Mike LaFleur

I know I will be checking the stats of Cleveland, Detroit and Los Angeles every week.

Elijah Moore by far.

Will LaFleur even call the plays in LA?  Aging offense and a sinking team.  How will this turn out?

Denzel Mims is not an NFL caliber player.  Great athlete, yes.  Bad football player at this level

Moore is going to have a monster season. He will go over 1,000 yards.  Its ashame it didnt work out here but he burnt bridges that could not be repaired.  And we had to get cobb to pander to rodgers.
I think there is a very real possibility that Cobb does not make it through the summer.

LaFluer will be a HC candidate in short order.

Moore will have a good season in Cleveland.

Mims will be out of the league in 18 months and never heard from again.

I don't agree with any of this. Mafluer sucks, moore sucks, and mims might not even make the team

There is nothing at all to suggest LaFleur is even remotely competent and you think he will be a HC candidate.

I think Cobb helps get the WR room mesh with Rodgers but he gets cut. I think the final WR could really be a surprise in the end. I think Brownlee, Irvin Charles have fantastic chances to make the roster.

You would think  Moore but who knows. MLF will be exposed for the useless douch nozzle he is and even his brother will be exposed as GB races to the bottom of the NFC North. I get weird Indy vibes with Green Bay like they will crash and burn get the #1 pick and have another FQB

Agreed. The pandering was to sign him and give him shot to stick. If he gets outplayed and can't earn a spot, thats all she wrote. I think the Jets had zero hesitation moving on from Mims because they like these young FA WRs they picked up to fight for the back end of the roster- guys like Gibson, Brownlee, Kapp and Charles. And Cobb shouldn't and I'm sure doesn't feel like his spot is safe by any means.

The fact that Sean McVay (whose dog walker gets looks to be a HC) plucked him up immediately strongly suggests he’s competent (and the New York Jets, an org where OCs go to die, are not.)

The fact that you’re a Zach Wilson guy pretty much murders any shred of credibility you have on this topic anyway.

Jets fans:  Blaming OC's for why their favorite young QB failed since the early 2000s.

You're not kidding.  While I'm totally fine with what happened (less for any faith in Hackett and more for the arrival of Rodgers), nothing is more comical than the same folks who went from crowning LaFleur as the future and Ulbrich the team scapegoat after the 2021 season, to then be saying the complete opposite within a matter of months, as if they had figured that out the whole time.

Magically, players are so often considered blameless for their own incompetence, despite Farrior being the last Jets guy anyone could think of that might support the theory.

Demario Davis part 1?

Davis certainly improved, but his breakout year was his second stint with the Jets, back under Bowles and the immortal Kacy Rodgers, playing the same position he did with them 2 years earlier.  Davis had also done nothing for 3 years under Rex nor his year in Cleveland.

Which back to the original point, what evidence is there to suggest the issue was Jets coaching, and not Davis himself?  Even if they're supposedly to blame for his early career failures, wouldn't they also then be to credit for bringing him back and making him to successful?

Don't get me wrong, there is definitely a matter of how well a coach uses a player to their full potential / strengths, but the argument that they single-handedly control a player being an NFL legend or all-time bust has nothing to support it.

I want it to be Mims but yeah, I know. LaFleur? He will get better as time his on.

I see Moore having a very good year, I just hope he comes up with a getting a massage TD celebration in the end zone.
