Max Michells’ clot story

Recommended Posts

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — Max Mitchellwondered if it could kill him. Maybe it would end his football career.

Mitchell plays one of the most physically demanding positions in sports as an offensive lineman for the New York Jets. But he’d never suffered a serious injury. Mitchell suffered a dislocated knee as a rookie last year and missed six weeks, but those types of injuries happen in the trenches. And Mitchell has been through trauma — losing his mother in a car accident and his father falling from a tree and nearly dying — but he’d never feared for his life.

It’s a paywall story. Sorry lol.
