Question about NFL network

Recommended Posts

So this is the forst season I won't  have a dvr to record games and I am almost always working g on Sundays so most of the time, I watch it when I get home. Does NFL network still have the rewind games? Otherwise I can just get the cloud DVR for 3 or 4 months. I'm getting closer to cutting the cable.

The NFL offers a package called "NFL+ Premium" which allows you to watch every game after it is completed for $80 a season.  This includes all NFL games going back to the 2009 season, plus some content from NFL network.  I think it's actually pretty good value for the money.

I think you also get the preseason games as part of the package, which is a nice throw in for those of us who are out of market.

You are correct, Sir.  I've been out of market for 13 years now, and that's how I watch the preseason games.

No, it's  not that. I pay about 25 a month for the dvr box. I bought  a Roku hub and I can get cloud DVR for 10 a month only during football season. Economics.

I think the cloud DVR is the way to go then. It will cost about 40. I just remember putting on NFL network during the week and they showed those condensed versions of games that were on the prior Sunday. I can probably figure out a way to catch one of them.

I kind of think of it as Sunday Ticket on 3-hour tape delay for 20% of the price (with a lot of extra perks).  It may not make as much sense for in-market fans who have a DVR option.  But for an out-of-market fan like me, it's a way to watch all games (pre-, regular, and post-season) for a reasonable price - especially if I won't be able to watch many of the games live anyway.
