Just love how Rodgers has gone full reverse heel.  Started out having the public reputation of an a**hole in GB and decided to come here and finish his career as a saint.

don't worry he'll be a heel again before it's all done

Time will tell. He's a complicated guy.

But so far - Rodgers good moves:100%. Bad moves:0%

No other strategy the Jets could have employed would have given them a better, multi-year shot at a ring.

For a moment when you praised the Will McDonald pick recently, and (admittedly naive wishful thinking on my part) after Rodgers gave back $35M, I thought you'd change.

But bro is just as consistent as they get.

Makes me genuinely laugh when I read your posts - all of this positivity should be cut with some Bitonti.

Respect.

I think it’s pretty clear he has a big ego and wanted to he treated a certain way. Didn’t want to be just another employee. He wanted to he treated as a “partner” of sorts by the front office and coaching staff.

The Packers took him for granted and their current admin alienated him early and often. Almost like they went out of their way to only take defense players in the first round, unless it was a QB. Never consulted him.

The QB starved Jets have kissed his ass at every turn and constructed their offensive staff and talent with him in mind — so he wants to return the favor and show everyone he’s not an unreasonable dick. He just didn’t like how GB handled him.

While I agree with your point overall, I wouldnt say "kissed his a$$".  Its more then that

Youre spot on about the Packers and its frankly really odd the way the whole thing played out.  I get that the football lockerroom is a extraordinarily important and one of the most difficult things to manage in all of sports - but there is an ENORMOUS difference in kissing ass like the Broncos did with Russ. Giving him an office, and all the travel perks is not the same as sitting down with your star QB and allowing him to have a certain level of input on personnel or offensive scheme when that player has earned what Rogers has.

Why wouldnt a team who is switching QBs bring in a coordinator that the QB knows and likes?  We as fans and the media put so much stock into the coordinators but at the end of the day, how many guys really move the needle?  This team will go as far as Rogers and the defense can take them, I highly doubt that Hackett will be a make or break person so why not keep things easy for Rogers and allow him to manage the game?

Really big miss by GB and a great job by our front office to give us a chance to win for 2 seasons.

I think the other thing bellichicken butt boy said was that Rodgers didn’t necessarily decide on the jets when he came out of the cave.  He was open to other offers but it looks like the jets were the ones serious about dealing with Green Bay.  Good for woody, Douglas, saleh, et al for continuing the dialogue and getting the deal done.

when asked about the pay cut Rodgers said a bunch of stuff, but maybe most importantly talked about the the NFL trade deadline is now more of a real trade deadline where players get moved and he wanted the Jets to have the ammo to make a move if they believed it made sense. Has a lot of trust in JD and RS to make good decisions.

This makes me wonder if Rodgers is setting up the Jets to go after Davante Adams later this year. It's a sure thing that Ole Glass Jaw  Garoppolo will land on bench before Week 8 and the Raiders go into the tank. Adams will want no part of that ! Picking up Adams for a stretch run would render a mighty juice WR Room. Look at it, 1A) Adams, 1B)  Wilson, 2A) Lazard, 2B) Corey Davis. Adams and Wilson are both All-Pros many teams dont have one WR on that level. Lazard and Davis are both solid receivers who would start on most teams.

Remember the video Rodgers sent to Adams of Wilson catch the ball in the back of the end zone last week. Adams was quick to tweet back about how bright the future looked for Rodgers and Wilson. It sounded like he wanted to be a part of that.

I think he went through some self evaluation during his darkness stint. People laugh about it  but he was insightful about it on Aubrey Marcus podcast back in March.

The biggest thing I recall from it was Rodgers now doesn’t care if people say “he’s just a football player”.  He knows that he’s more than just a football player though and that he still truly loves playing football & the competition.

Well there was the "don't draft Zach Wilson" strategy

Oh you mean after thst? How about the fire Joe Douglas for drafting Zach Wilson strategy?

I call them like I see them

Will Mcdonald is a very good prospect who will get alot of sacks

Rodgers is old as old man balls and in a steep decline

The schedule is way harder than last year's this looks like a 9 win team max

These are all predictions

I am interested in accuracy not pure loyalty

JD is the best GM they've ever had so "no". Who are the three best drafting GMs ever in your view?
