mrcoops
Could be the Jets weren't overly impressed with their LB depth in the HOF game. Or maybe the injury to Nas is worse than it appeared.
#27TheDominator
Didn't durrstt get dinged too? They probably need bodies for practice.
Popular Post Lith
I think Surratt was also banged up Thursday night. They may be looking for nothing more than an extra camp body until these guys are healthy.

RevisIsland610
Linebacker is the weakest position group on the team. They should have signed Alexander.
NIGHT STALKER
And the reason why we didn't sign Kwon was?
Bleedin Green
They're about 5 months late on that, but hopefully they get lucky with what's left.

Sarge4Tide
Jordan Evans is an interesting name - if he’s healthy he could be a nice pick up
Larz
2 injuries in the game, right ? Might as well get a file on some guys.

I heard that Nasirildeen got hurt, but don't think I saw that. I only saw one Jet on the ground and the trainer come out to look at him. The announcers aid that it was Marquis Spencer. Were they wrong? Was that Nasirildeen, or were they the two who got hurt? If Spencer didn't get hurt, who was the other player to get hurt? Any reports on how serious either injury is? Don't recall seeing anything about Spencer today, but Nas and Surratt both missed practice. They were on the field off to the side in the rehab area, so not likely serious.

jetstream23
I think they'll carry 5. CJ, Quincy, Sherwood (who is getting better), and Surratt seem likely to make it. Another veteran like Kwon would have been great. Let's see how Barnes (rookie) looks the next few weeks. OL and LB are the two most concerning position groups to me right now. Sarge4Tide
2 options from a roster standpoint … 1) Surratt and/or Nasilrideen go on IR (Or DT Marquis Spencer) 2) 1 or 2 players at another position get cut. candidates for getting cut IMHO include RB Crocket, WR Kapp, QB Streveler, maybe one of the OLs such as Laing
BornJetsFan1983
Why do we not have like 5 more ol guys invited? I mean that is more concerning to me
C Mart
Dennis Waszak Jr. @DWAZ73 #Jets announce they’ve signed LBs Nick Vigil and Sam Eguavoen. They also release LBs Hamsah Nasirildeen and Maalik Hall. Nasirildeen was a 6th-round draft pick out of FSU in 2021.
#27TheDominator
For those that hate PFF, Vigil has one of their worst grades as a run defender. This will be his eighth year and he has already taken snaps for four teams. 53 NFL starts and 3600+ defensive snaps with another 1000 on specials. Eguavoen spent his whole career with the Dolphins and has played every game. Seems like a core special teamer, but he only has 7 starts and 6 came in 2019 and 1 in 2020. They are both 30, so not really potential/developmental guys. .

He was a core ST player for the Phish for 4 years, and played some at LB too. That's the kind of guy that teams like to have for depth.
