The New York Jets have waived quarterback Chris Streveler following a disappointing preseason debut against the Cleveland Browns.

The Jets have waived QB Chris Streveler. The 2022 preseason hero injured his throwing thumb on a helmet last Thursday night and hasn’t been able to practice. It’s a tough business. #Jets

Meanwhile, they added defensive tackle Bruce Hector who has spent time with the Lions and Eagles.

Streveler, a preseason standout last season came in to Thursday nights game and managed to complete just 1 of 7 passes.
