Tua put on a bunch of weight and hasn’t looked great in camp. Dolphins have some major issues on OL, and their CB group has been hit with injuries. Ramsey is probably out for the year and their first round pick CB Cam Sutton has been dinged up. They’re going to go out their with Eli Apple as a starter, which, good luck.

Darnold sucked in the preseason game too, but Shanahan likes his talent. Purdy has been on light duty and is firmly the team’s #1, but he got picked off a bunch in the joint practices with the Raiders. 
 

Mayfield has been bad in camp, but is doing enough to hold of Trask, who outright sucks. The Bucs really need to consider tanking and giving us Mike Evans. 
 

The word out of New England is that all their receivers are very bad except for some rookie slot guy they drafted. It has made the QB evaluation difficult.

Supposedly Mac Jones has been pretty crappy in camp and Darth Belichick is refusing to name his starter.  Pats fans seem to have completely turned on him and are all in on Bailey Zappe.

Purdy is doing 2 days practice 1 day off but looks good. Darnold seems to be ahead as backup but the 4th string guy has some traction so Lance might be traded.

Is Lance a Taysom Hill role potential?  Not many guys can do that - but maybe he could if teams give up on him as a QB.

I know there were supposedly interested teams in April, but between his injuries and less than spectacular performances, I can't imagine the market for him includes many teams. 

I could see them rolling with Purdy/Darnold/Lance this year. Darnold is getting backup money, Lance is getting starting pay and Purdy is sadly paid like a third string QB. Purdy's four year deal is worth less than Darnold's one year deal.

JimmyG is  looking good, Aidan O’Connell- it’s  early but looks like they found their future Qb.    Offenseline coming together two UDFA Ot Dalton Wagner ( year away but could be longterm Rt ) and McClendon Curtis - hoping he wins the starting Rg.   Will be pissed if Alex Bars ( garbage ) or Greg Van Rotten - Jet reject make this team .    Raiders lose any of those two Udfs I might go ballistic if they lose either one for those two bums. .

Still haven’t got back their number 1 draft pick T Wilson and third rounder Dt Byron Young just started practicing after being out with injury.  They are real deep on the defense line.

They had biggest steal in seventh rounder Dt Nesta Jade Silveria ( Crosby calls him a big dog ):with last year fourth round Neil Farrell jr  ( totally different player this year):both will be their Nt .   ( rotate both)   B young, bNicholas , Jerry Tillery -former first round has looked great surprising against the run  that always been biggest knock on him why Chargers cut him,    Adam Butler( former patriot) looks like will beat out last year Fifth rounder Mathew Butler .    
lbs will be Divine Deablo - third year  guy has most ability Robert Spillane , l Masterson former safety , amari Burney 6 rounder former safety looked great against 49ers , and Drake Thomas

Which QB started the preseason game behind a crap OL and with no skill position starters?  Zappe.

Mac is the starter.  The podcasts I listen to, not Sully from Chicopee, says Mac has been solid.  Clearly, the best QB out there. The Patriots actually have the msakings of a professional offense this year.  Not the sh*tshow from last year.
