Hope the kid avoids the worst possible outcome here…too bad because he’s looked fantastic.

as far as the RB’s go, looks like Izzy is likely to land on IR, opening the door for both Carter and Bam to make the team

Carter didn't play tonight, did he? He's already on the team

Injury looked like it was caused by a knee colliding with his knee or just above it. Might not be a season ender. Hoping for a bad bruise

I was really looking forward to him getting sporadic touches in real games

hoping for the best expecting the worst

Why expect the worst the tape didn't show any torquing or even contact with the knee

Thank goodness it is not a break or joint or ligament but a good thigh injury is no joke either.

I had that in high school ball.

I'm guessing the Jets have a better rehab program than your high school and that Izzy might be a little more fit than you were :)

Hoping we can short term IR him and still see him later in the season.

It's more likely it's a bruise that stunned his nerve.

you got that right abut rehab and doctors.  We had nothing.  Absoltuely nothing.  Even no internet to look up how to treat a thigh injury.

I hope they treat this very seriously and don't rush him back even if it is a big ol' bruise.  Let the kid get 100% again before taking too many hits.  You never know where a spark comes from from game to game.  We could use this guy healthy all year.  And he will probably break a couple.
