IF Tippmann is out for a long time, which I don't know if he is, this is the Offensive Line Roster

Recommended Posts

Hoping Tippmann isn't hurt too bad and can get back soon.  If he is out for a long time, this is probably our offensive line in 2023:

IF JETS KEEP 8 OFFENSIVE LINEMEN

Starters (5)

  1. Becton T
  2. Vera-Tucker G
  3. McGovern C
  4. Tomlinson G
  5. Brown T

Backups (3)

  1. Warren T
  2. Mitchell T / G OR Turner T / G
  3. Schweitzer G/C

If the Jets keep 9 offensive linemen, they would probably keep both Mitchell and Turner

That leaves 4 decent prospects for the Practice Squad

  1. Trystan Colon G/C  - Solid Vet would probably get claimed by another team if / when waived
  2. Adam Pankey G / T - Has looked good in the preseason and can play multiple positions - probably would not get claimed
  3. Chris Glaser G/T/C - IMHO, he's almost certain to be on the PS again this year
  4. Greg Senat T - Very athletic OT prospect who was on the PS last year

Didn't they just pick Hermanns back up?

Senat interests me.  BBall kid from Wagner IIRC.  I liked him as a high ceiling roll of the dice when he came out. He was on the NFI most of last year I think.

Warren doesn’t seem ready. Hard to justify him on the 53. Possible cheeky IR candidate

Turner is likely the swing tackle and Schweitzer the interior guy on game day.

I don’t think Douglas would use a 4th rounder on a offensive linemen to hide him on the IR in a year with AR on the team.

CW will on the 53.
