Watched all 4 episodes.

Not one insight offered about Aaron Hernandez. Not a single thought by Meyer, Tebow or anyone else.

That's the tell that it's not really a "documentary" but an "authorized retrospective".

Sounds like one jets drive

I watched 2 episodes.   They don’t go into all of the juicy off the field stuff. More like an Urban Meyer fluff piece.  Still a good watch just for college football nostalgia.

this. i saw someone post on twitter that all of the netflix stuff being made now is coming across as propaganda....jerry jones docu series coming to network soon. i enjoy series like 30 for 30.

The thing about these types of shows is that once you are granted access to the people involved, there are all types of agreements as to what can be discussed, how it can be discussed, as well signing off on the final piece, in some cases. Unless it is investigative in nature, they are going to be fluff.

What you hope you get is a couple of nuggets you didn't know, and also hope that the storytelling is woven together smartly.

It sucked.

Worse than the Johnny Football ass kiss fest.

There wasn't a bigger collection of criminals in the last 40 years and they glossed it all over.

What I took from part 1 for me that was interesting, was how Meyer came in and knew he had to change the culture and work ethic in the program. Doubt someone would be able to go that extreme that he did, with today's legislation.

@JiF

Watched part 1 of this series yesterday (it is a 4 parter), and it is an interesting take of how Florida rebuilt with Urban Meyer. Thought I would hate the smarmy, but at least through part 1 it is interesting look at how Meyer changed the culture at Florida.

Good way to wile away the hours as we approach real ffotball.

It’s straight trash and clearly Meyer had complete control of the production because it’s a clear attempt to try and clean his asitty reputation up and finally get invited to the Gators HOF (he should be despite being a horrible human).  I want ruin it but it’s unreal how much they leave out.  They basically don’t even mention the player most responsible for the championships and the starting QB for the first one.  Just trash
