I don't think there is much official about that.  It is guys they saw at practice.  If they plan to have guys back (Bawden? Cobb? Amos?), they still might let them practice.  They also might have guys that are hurt and not out there or that they will keep on roster (Colon?) trying to trade that are not there.

Interesting mix at WR and at LBers and even OL, lots of younger talent, not yet proven. If the Jets can get through this year, it's a nice inventory on which to build. If.

Rational.  I thought of that, but were they all practicing?  I don't think you can stash them if they are, but maybe the report was just at practice.  Not practicing.

Pretty sure the report means the were AT practice, not practicing (if Lawson was practicing, it would be the first time in weeks … not sure about Warren and Yeboah, but my understanding is that they have both are among those who have been hurt or sitting out practice)

Yeboah may be headed to short term IR. I think he was injured against Tampa, and I think they said he’d be out multiple weeks. I could easily see them going with 3 TE and a fullback on the final roster. But, if he does end up on 53 week one, it’s for specials, not necessarily because he beat out Kuntz at TE. Rather than the 4th TE, he should be considered a starter on special teams. Every team has a few of those guys.

55 guys at practice today suggests that 2 guys, probably Carter Warren and Yeboah, will go onto IR after final cuts.

I'd expect two vested veterans, maybe Bawden and Turner, to be cut and resigned to allow for the roster juggling.

Yes. I posted the same thing above — Lawson also an IR possibility, and my guess was Cobb, Hardee or Amos as the vested veterans who would agree to the handshake deal to come back right after the IR moves. But same idea.

Why?  He hasn't shown jack all preseason or in TC.  In fact, in one of the two preseason games he had alligator arms and made little or no attempt to catch 2 passes that he should have caught, because it looked like he would get hit as soon as he made the catch.

I agree that Turner is another solid choice for vested vet that gets cut and brought back.  I will point out that Amos was covering kickoffs late in the Giants game.
