Giants want all the smoke with us Oct 29th

Recommended Posts

It's funny to me that NYG fans think they're on the level of us. I'm guessing bc they snuck into the playoffs last year and are on cloud 9 from it.

Even more idiotic... they like to use our past like that matters to this season.

They're like a not as good version of the Bills. Who we nearly beat twice (did once) with no QB. Not worried about the Giants at all.

lol what a joke, cobbs play was more in his face than from behind... should go cheerleading instead of playing football

From behind?  Didn't he hit him in the chest?  How do you hit someone in the chest from behind?  What's next?  Are you going to have to get written consent before you hit somebody?

Jihad Ward v Jets:

1) play goes over his head for a big gain, he takes 5 extra steps to hit QB late. No flag. Claims he's never heard of Aaron Rodgers even though he told the NY Post that he wanted to sack an Aaron Rodgers last year.

2) very next play goes over his head for a TD, he again hits QB late. No flag. Gets in QB's face and again claims he's never heard of Aaron Rodgers.

3) After game, tries to justify his stupidity by saying that he was upset about Cobb's hit. Meanwhile, his D-line-mate was celebrating a sack just last season while the QB was on the ground motionless beside him.

I've never had issues with the Giants. I rooted for them in both super bowls against the cheats from the north. They don't really affect anything for the Jets except for the one non-conference game we play every 4 years. However, this ****tard going after our QB two plays in a row and landing late hits in a preseason game is inexcusable. I hope he lines up against Mekhi next time we see them - and Mekhi ends his night.

Why are they not on our level.  They were better then us last year and have added a bunch of talent to their roster.

Stay humble jet fans.  We have accomplished nothing yet.

Excellent recap of this "Jihad" situation.  I was personally very disappointed that none of the Jets offensive lineman saw fit to come over and take care of business the 2 separate times this ham and egger got in our QB1's face.  As documented above, the late hits were clear and uncalled for.  Don't recall who the referee for the game was, but a flag should have come out for roughing the passer.  Aaron took care of things with his laser beam to Garrett Wilson but there needed to be a price paid by Jihad.  We owe him some payback next game.

Why? Because we're better than them at pretty much every level. Only reason we weren't in the playoffs last year was QB play.

I wanted us to get Daboll as a HC years ago. So I recognize he's great for them and is making Jones a weapon for them.

But let's look at it positionally.

The only phase they're better than us at is OL. We're better everywhere else. That's why.

And they're in a tough division just like us.
