Life long suffering New York Jet fan.   Born on Long Island, moved to Western NC when I was 12.   Was at the game in Clemson when the Panthers got their first win against our Jets.   Cherish the 1998, much of the Herm years and of course what Rex and the boys gave us in 09 and 10 were special.   This year we slay that dragon.   14-3, AFC East title and the 1 seed.   Let's go.

Im in Charlotte.... what part of Western NC?

This thread smells how our 2nd team o-line play.

We all know, as history has proven, that if your 2nd string OL can't stop a top-5 ranked defense in practice, you ain't going to the SuperBowl brother!  I vividly remember tales of the Seahawks 2nd string OL completely DOMINATING the Legion of Boom back in the day.  Songs are still sung about the pure brilliance they displayed.  JD really goofed up by not accumulating a Pro Bowl squad of backups to protect us this year.

Can’t hate the optimism but many long suffering jets fans have seen this movie before.  The jets need to do their part. No amount of pre season hype is going to win anything.  This isn’t to say they don’t have the talent, because they do. They just need to play each game for the full 60 minutes and not take any crap from any team. Let’s see how they do by game 4 or5 before really starting to strut.

Pre-season hype is worth at least 2 wins.  Stop hedging.  We got NFL Football tomorrow night.  The Jets are going on the big stage in the last game of the first week.  It's time to be all in.  If your heart gets ripped out put on your big boy pants and get a transplant.
