Agree, I think that’s the rationale … not because someone is hurt.

Probably (hopefully) just gauging vets in the event they need to sign someone later in the season. Interestingly, they don’t have any receivers on the practice squad as yet.

"Upgrade" is an interesting term based on the names on that list. 

I'm interested in a WR upgrade but based on that list,  we might want to roll with the UDFA's.

Still an interesting group.  Jeff Smith was a fair special teamer here for year Boyer.  The Giants cut him with an injury settlement, so probably good to keep an eye on his health if they need an in-season ST replacement. 

Proche was a 2020 6th that did not give the Ravens much.  He was supposed to be a 50/50 king at SMU, but little teeny arms and big hands, might make it seem like that.  Not much athleticism.  I remember the name more than the player, but maybe they are looking him for punt returns just in case - especially since Erickson signed with the Chargers practice squad. 

Golladay is the one I wonder about.  He was whining and in Daboll's doghouse and the Giants supposedly shopped him before they cut him loose in March, but I literally have not heard a peep about him trying out anywhere or being dinged.
