doitny
Tom Brady makes prediction for Aaron Rodgers' first year with New York Jets (msn.com) Tom Brady has predicted that Aaron Rodgers will have a huge impact on the New York Jets' fortunes amid their Super Bowl aspirations The Jets gave up a first and second-round pick to trade for Rodgers from the Green Bay Packers, in a move seen as the final piece for the team to succeed and challenge in the loaded AFC conference. The team had a strong roster last season but was let down by poor quarterback play. Now, they've added one of the best players in the league at the position. Brady expects Rodgers to make a big impact and sees it as a perfect opportunity for the veteran to continue to shine, along with elevating the team to legitimate Super Bowl contenders. Speaking on SiriusXM's Let's Go! Podcast on Rodgers' move to the Jets, Brady said: "Well, it's just, there's a different energy about it. "It's a newness. It's a fresh start to try to take where you've been, to bring all the good and then not to bring the tough lessons, you know? Because sometimes the tough lessons always remain unless you work through 'em, you know? "So it's like you go through a lot of years at one place and there's a lot of, I would say, mental scar tissue, from losses or relationships or certain experiences. Oh, this guy had said this once, or that teammate, or this coach, or that general manager. "Now you go to a new place and you have none of that. So now you can just hopefully bring your best knowing that you probably didn't do everything right where you were, but you tried your best. Brady believes Rodgers will have a big impact on the team winning this season© GETTY "And now you get to go to a new place with a different type of emotional energy. And I'm excited for him. He'll be invigorated. "He looks like he's having a good time up to this year. I know he has been engaged in the off-season, which is always great, and really trying to connect with his teammates. "So I'm excited to see what he does. They have a really good team. They have a really good offense. And, you know, Aaron's been, when he's got good receivers, man, it's pretty dangerous. I think he's gonna have a great year." The Jets are one of the favorites to make it to the playoffs, but will be in a loaded division, facing fellow Super Bowl hopefuls Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills twice each.

Brady liked to stand on our neck no more or less than he liked to do it to every other team in football. It was the fat cheater that really cultivated the special brand of hate for the Jets.
