Wild to think that Brock Purdy and Kenny Pickett were drafted way, way after Zach Wilson and neither one of those guys have been put into a remedial QBing 101 training program to learn how to throw screen passes for an additional two years

The NFL is just plain difficult to figure out.  We're all quick to say the Jets can't develop QBs, but even the great Kyle Shanahan completely flubbed the #3 overall pick (after trading away a fortune to acquire him).  They ended up being saved by Mr. Irrelevant.

Meanwhile, the year the Jets took Pennington in the 1st round they supposedly had a scout pounding the table for TB12 later on but Parcells nixed it because we had "our guy".

Trevor Lawrence is good.  That is all.

It's the best way to build a team, too.  You can always afford to pay one guy.  The Jets have built a very good core but, with the salary cap, I don't see how we're going to keep it together.  It really kind of svcks.  The league should encourage the type of builds the Jets have done.
