Meaningless win. Like a nice piece of bacon sitting in a pile of sh*t. Another lost f’ing season then a likely house cleaning. JD isnt getting extended based on this disaster.

idk about that. this team is pretty loaded except for qb. and you know woody pushed to get rodgers so.....

I can’t get over you guys. We have a tremendous defense. Frankly the team that should be upset with their QB is Buffalo. Allen responsible for four turnovers. We can win with Zach, as long as he doesn’t  do things to lose the game for us.

If it makes you feel better, Allen won’t ever win a SB either

Great win, but let’s be real

They need Caleb Williams or Shedeur Sanders

They should acquire a vet ASAP but they won’t because they’re stubborn

It was inevitable, we did not address the OL.  McDonald pick was horrendous.

This is a stupid comment. We did address the online.

The insinuation is that a lack of line play got AR hurt. The lineman did what he was supposed to do.

Football injuries happen and they suck but for some fans to do this soj bs on tonight of all nights is ridiculous

Really? Hmmm. I'm not so sure seem like the team is really well put together and well coached.

I guess it happens all the time but I do not think joe or Saleh should be let go. They have done great jobs. Can't fault them for nothing able to get Zach to play well. You move on from the bust not the GM and coach.

Absolutely brutal. If you don’t believe this team is cursed after tonight idk what to tell you, maybe it’s part of the reason we’re still here rooting for them. The thought of the impossible happening. Like the cubs, Red Sox, etc. one day it just might happen. I feel bad for the guys in that locker room. This roster is ready to win now. Every position except now QB

Perspective for a second….The 2023 Jets beat one of last years top 3 teams in the AFC and a Division rival with Zack and the rest of the team for basically the whole game and a drive in OT. This is who the the 2023 Jets are. The defense was and is dominant. The offense adjusted and made plays when it had to, special teams were great. Punts pinned Bills deep. The Jets showed what kind of team they are. If the rest of the team stays healthy, and thats always, a big if, the Jets will be fine.

Exactly.  Woody wanted Rodgers more than anyone.  People can act like we have some abysmal OL and of course this was inevitable, but QBs get hit...they get sacked...no OL is ever going to keep a QB clean in today's NFL.  Just a freak injury.  Wasn't even like a Mike White-Milano spear, dude just went down twisted.

But yeah, Douglas will get little blame for this I'd imagine.  Woody had as big of a hard on for Rodgers as anyone, and overall JD has built a winning roster.  The team is still one QB away as they showed tonight.  Sometimes luck doesn't go your way.  What are you gonna do?  If you want to blast him for not bringing in a proven backup, sure.  But the OL?  Especially considering it was Duane Brown "responsible" - not Becton, not Tomlinson, not our rookie C....like I said, sh*t happens.

If the Jets acquire a vet, they aren't going to be in position to draft Williams or Sanders.

Agreed.  This is on Rodgers.  It was a 3 step drop and get rid of the ball.  He dropped 3 steps, had lazard wide open coming across the field and he did not pull the trigger.

Why, Ill never know .  He was totally shook tonight.  Panic attack is what I think.

The sad reality is by the time we get a functional QB, the defense will have seen a lot of turnover and Breece will have some definite mileage.

I was at the game it was a very exciting win. We have a tremendous defense. I’m hoping we can win with Zach. All he has to do is not turn the ball over.

Hey great win……but I just can’t and I feel it for all of us can we ever have anything nice??????

Hey I'm with you, bro. It's unfathomable loss. Another season over on opening day. When the Red Sox won in 2004, (don't ask - yes I'm a Red Sox and Jets fan. Complicated childhood)  I was torn. Either: this team was so good, they defeated the curse, the curse that was REAL. That produced Bucky Dent's homerun, the dribbler between Buckner's legs, the Aaron Boone walk off. OR - they were good enough to expose the truth - there never was a curse. They just needed a team good enough to play through that made-up boogeyman. I think I've settled on the latter. There was no curse. There are no such things as curses.

But the Jets? They take me back. They are convincing me curses are real. This is otherworldly.

If the o line gets in sync, you might be right.
