Jets will be fine with Zach Wilson this season - playoffs! Heres why:

All off season and past 2 weeks Rodgers has taken all the reps with the 1st team. Rodgers out after 4 plays Zach in and he performed. Zach was under siege - there is no doubt about that! Buffalo has a great defense. Zach held his own with limited practice reps and no practice with the 1st team. Now Zach will get the first team reps and you can bet Rodgers will be right there tutoring him. Its almost like we Jet fans expected this to happen. I do expect Zach to lead the Jets to the playoffs!

I sure hope so. He showed today he can recover from mistakes. Not a great game by any standards but I don't have the feeling of dread I did when he first came in.

My guy, we had super bowl aspirations not hopes of being a fringe playoff team. This is soul crushing and there’s no positive spin to put on it.

How do you figure he held his own? The handed the ball off and threw an pass that for all intentds and purposes was uncatchable.

We got a little luck and the bills under estimated us. The def was in Allen s head, we have a great team but unless if Zach can't throw some basic bases and score three times we are going to go no where. 

I really think we need to bring someone in. I hope Zach proves is all wrong because I think Zach is the starter for better or worse the rest of the season.

All he has to do is get it to play makers. It's possible but damn it is going to be a long shot

I agree. The AFC East is between the Pats and the Jets. Nobody can take Miami seriously long-term and I’ve been expecting a Buffalo regression that’s now here. I bet they disappoint this season.

The Jets probably have a slightly better roster than the Patriots and Mac Jones is a punk ass bitch. Meanwhile, Patriots have a good pass rush and you have no offensive line. 
 

Bills were the team to beat in the post-Brady world and you just beat them. 
 

At least for this week, the Division is in your control.

Zach did not look much different than last year, so I vehemently disagree.

Purdy came in the same situation with Jimmy G going down in the 1q vs MIA and he did not look like he was completely lost. Stop making excuses. Zach does not have what it takes. It's painfully obvious. Wanted the kid to succeed more than 75% of this board. He just doesn't have IT and he never will. We would've seen it more consistently by now.

If Zach can turn it around with Aaron being a coach then the trade was worth it still. I have very very little faith in that though

Look, if many of you know me.  I've been a big ZW supporter.

But he's not ready to take a team to a championship.  He looked, fundamentally, better than he has.  But I wouldn't trust him to take this team to the playoffs.  I suspect they'll be a new QB in house tomorrow.

This team's window is too small to put on ZW's shoulders right now.

My best guess is the old vet route.  My best guess is Matt Ryan....
