I Thought JD Knew How to Build an Offensive Line

Those cut blocks looked built in, right?

If so the ball was supposed to be thrown immediately

total cluster****

yup, either Rodgers held the ball too long on those plays or the o-linemen were cut blocking when they shouldn't have been. Looked like it was on the QB to me. That's coming from a guy who has been saying the QB was going to make the o-line a lot better all off-season.

Good thing it didn't happen in pre-season though.

Joe Douglas is excellent at making people believe he's competent

That's his best skill, fooling people who want to be fooled

He's even better at that than he is at liquidation

He's basically a coin flip as a drafter. And his free agents have been terrible.

As good as the adams trade was, that's how bad the Rodgers trade was

Don't worry though it's only a non voidable 7 year deal

I'm not advocating for burying JD, but I thought his philosophy is to build a team from the trenches out. Alijah's a stud. And, um, well Alijah is a stud. End stop.

Protection against the bills was, on balance, miserable.

It takes time and lots of Draft Picks to build both an O Line and a D Line. The problem is the Jets have made a feeble effort to build an O Line while Gold Plating their defense. The Jets O Line problem is a chronic problem. Do you know the meaning of the word chronic ? A Recurring that shows no sign of progress. Why is that. Seeing Saleh berate the O Line is enough to make any good fan's blood boil. That is the act of a coward looking to deflect blame. It's Saleh and Joe D that make those decisions. If anything JD problem is not telling Saleh that he is not getting anymore Defensive Players until the situation with the O Line is cleaned up. Saleh wanted all these Defensive Players now it's the Defense's responsibility to keep this team in every ball game the way it did Monday Night. The Defense has the tools the offense doesn't.

There is more talent on this team than on maybe 24+ other teams in the league

The OT and QB positions are now a disaster, so that’s fair

He has to own that

But firing him would be idiotic

Having said this, JD absolutely must sign a vet QB tomorrow
