I am going to defend Woody a bit here.

Woody is a rich white guy just as 100% of the owners are. Color should not matter - but too often we see articles come out from these guys disparaging players based on color, social stance etc.

Woody is trying to fit in with his players - not present a persona of being above them or better than them. 

Sure he comes off as a doofus at times and the picture with the necklace looks stupid - but I would take that any day then him sitting in his office with a 20 year old Sears suit on disparing players and hoping no one ever finds out.

Nothing wrong with Woody and the Jets bling, at all.  It’s fun self deprecating humor from him and showing support to his players at the same time.  Sauce’s bling, the bling he gave Rodgers, it’s all in that line of playful support and is a great demonstration of the owner being with his players. 

There should be a branch from anus removal company somewhere on the web, you know, in case anyone needs it…..

To be honest I think that this is a fantastic thing he is doing. Of course he looks like a doofus but that is part of why this meaningful. Even though NFL players are millionaires they in general come from a completely different demographic. About as far seperated as they can be. Woody is showing them respect here in a self deprecating way. I guarantee the players love it

Chris did same.  Kneeled with players.  What did it get?   Worst 4 year period in team history.   These players aren’t stupid.  They know woody is nothing like them.  Woody is not an astute owner.   He’s a rich grandson
