Jetsfan80
Dalvin Cook: Slug. If only there were people who saw this coming.... 1
carlito1171
Breece looked every bit of the RB that would have prob ran away with OROY last year. As fast and shifty as ever Cook looked a step slow but I expect him to pick it up in the next few games

rtnelson
Both our RBs are getting their legs back it seems. Breece is going to destroy worlds this year. Dude is an absolute beast. Cook does seem a step slower, but still another body that can pick up yards.
Popular Post #27TheDominator
I have to say that I was skeptical of all the squawking about Ruckert. Watching this, I ******* love him. He hammers people and he doesn't sit around admiring his work. Blasts them and on the the next. The way Hall was running he was hitting extra guys on every play. 6

Ruckert needs to take Uzomah's reps real soon....

Asymmetrical
I will fearlessly posit that Izzy or Michael Carter should be getting more of Cook's touches
#27TheDominator
My favorite call was Aikman talking about how if Wilson flips the pitch back to Carter on that run by the goal that Carter could have walked in. He is probably right, but that is the kind of crazy broken play that often creates a turnover. Seemed like a stupid thing to do on 1st down, but there was Aikman calling for it. Then he caps it off by slipping in that "Wilson didn't want to make that mistake" showing that he knew how ridiculous his plan was. Yeah right, Troy. Like you were flipping that back during your salad days.

Uzomah had some great blocks in this game as well. Not just a lot. They were playing a decent amount of 3 TE. That's insane, especially when you consider they use Bawden too. 54 offensive snaps. Conklin 43, Uzomah 30, Ruckert 18 and Bawden 8. Surprise to me was Hardman getting zero. I thought he was inactive, but apparently he played a ST snap.
nj meadowlands
Looking forward to a heavy dose of Breece and Dalvin behind AVT/Becton right into Micah Parsons' ugly ****in mug

Barry McCockinner
Unreal the yards Breece is able to make on his own. I don't think I've ever seen a Jets RB be able to do that. As for Cook - he gets what the line gives him, sometimes less. Would much rather see Izzy who can probably do the same and also take any snap to the house.
slats
On the play where Milano blew up Cook, he was McGovern’s man. Three players I’d like to see worked into the offense more are Ruckert, Abanikanda, and Tippmann. The Jets were going to be a running team before Rodgers went down, now the running game is imperative. Let’s get the young guys in there and see what they can do. I bet they’d be an improvement.

I'd definitely like to see Tippmann sooner than later now that 8 is out but that was a really tough blocking assignment.

Tippmann is physically an improvement to Connor but he's super raw and arguably doesn't know the entire playbook/blocking calls yet Connor McGovern is incredibly average but he's also steady. His shotgun snaps are always in the same place, he doesn't get called for many penalties etc. He's a replacement level center. Tippmann is 22 years old probably a year away
