Jets set to Work out Kickers Following Zuerlein Injury

With just a few days until kickoff against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, the Jets plan to work out kickers after Greg Zuerlein injured his right groin toward the end of practice.

Head coach Robert Saleh met with the media to provide injury updates and said Zuerlein was a late addition.  At this point Saleh says Zuerlein is “50/50 to play” on Sunday.

New York Jets

On September 14, 2022, Long was signed to the New York Jets' practice squad. He was released on September 20. 


He played college football for the University of Alabama at Birmingham and holds records for career field goals as well as the longest field goal in school history
