Coaching staff

This game is on the coaching staff. Hackett is on the hot seat as far as I'm concerned. Poor game plan, no adjustments, plus the O line is atrocious! Uibrect absolutely didn't have this defense ready to play, plus poor adjustments  if he made any. This game is completely on the coaching staff and Joe Douglas. Aaron Rodgers couldn't have won this game. If this year turns into a disaster this whole regime must go. Watched Salahs press conference and he is lost. He looked clueless. I had hope for him but he hasn't developed into a first class HC.

There is zero reason for Hackett to be here with Rodgers gone...said it last week, he has no plan for ZW, Hall got only 4 touches today, gave up on the run way too early. Belichek is salivating.

4 carries for Hall was criminal.  Running empty sets when duane brown was a turnstile is criminal.  Not throwing to our tight ends is criminal.

Defense was pathetic today.

Zach Wilson was terrible.  But we knew that.  Its the other things I were expecting to be good.  And they stunk..

It should be noted for accuracy that Keith Carter is the run game coordinator and it’s not just a title. He is in charge of all the run calls.

Also Todd Downing is the passing game coordinator. His role is a little murkier but he absolutely has a say in the passing offense.

Someone has to launch Uzomah into the sun and Hall getting 4 carries is criminal although I think he had 1-2 drops

Can we get Hardman a few touches?

If the ship is going to sink, go out with Zach throwing bombs down field with Hardman running nothing but post routes all. Day. Long.

Game plan defies belief.  Hmm let’s put a 40 year old tackle who missed training camp one on one versus the second coming of Lawrence Taylor.  No need to have one of our blocking tight ends chip him every play that might make it more difficult for him.  How else can I eff this up?  Oh yeah let me give one of our top play makers 4 carries.   That will really wear the defense down.  Third and one, let’s try a sneak with our diminutive QB.  If that doesn’t work we can always fake a punt from our own 20.  Anything other than give it to Breece is the plan.  On defense, 3rd and goal from the 13, hmm let’s sell out with a blitz.  It’s important we get a sack and push it from a 30 yard attempt to a 40 yard attempt.  That will make all the difference.  Never mind it leaves everyone else one on one the refs will never call a PI against us since we are the Jets and get all the calls.   A JV high school coach could’ve come up with a better game plan than what we had today.  Freaking disgraceful.

Yeah I don't know how.you don't game plan a run heavy game plan with plenty of help and extra protection.

Especially considering our QB situation and seeing the cowboys plays last week.

Did they just not believe the cowboys were legit? Did they buy Zach is won the game last week?

It's crazy.

Hackett is the last one on hot seat. Zach, JD, even salah way ahead of him. Hackett was brought in to team up with rodgers. Rodgers is coming back. Hopefully JD or another GM can finally get this OL straightened out for once. Otherwise no qb stands a real shot.

Hot seat suggests someone could be fired.

Please get a grip, Hackett is not on the hot seat.

They beat a top 5 team at home and lost to a top 5 team on the road, with Rodgers out.

Exhale.

I don’t think it’s the fact they lost but the manner in which they lost.

I mean if I was a Giants fan, I’d be in full panic mode too.  And on paper they are 1-1 just like the Jets.

This coaching staff, especially Hackett isn’t going anywhere as long as we’re all in with Rodgers.

If and when Rodgers hangs it up and we haven’t won a title or done anything of value it will be a full organizational purging.

This.  As long as AR is here, Hackett is also going to be here.

Teams get exposed! Even in week 2. Most of the things that were exposed were problems that many of us felt could be an issue this year. These problems are going to be trouble next week versus the patriots and then how do you expect us to generate enough points on offense to beat Kansas City and Philadelphia? Zach does not belong as a starting QB in this league, our o line needs a QB with quick decision making and extreme accuracy, still no rush from the edges, can’t cover RBs and TEs, LBs slow and bad on the edges and poor coaching. All these issues aren’t going away anytime soon.

Defense first half was not good, not good at all. But to say they didn’t make adjustments isn’t right. They held the Cowboys to 4 second half FGs. With some of those drives starting in very favorable position for the cowboys.

The defense has had problems getting off the field on third down situations for three years. I cringe on third downs even third and 25 with this defense. Yesterday no adjustments to shut down Lamb. This defense is not a championship defense. They have a lot of work to do. The talent is there the coaching isn't. On offense I don't think Hackett is special. His game plan was awful! That being said Joe D. should be on the hot seat (no O line) along with Salah. Woody should sell. He is a terrible owner! I hope they can prove me wrong but 5 years of Douglas and three of Salah is enough for me.

Great defenses have great pass rushes and are not about bend but don’t break.  They drafted an edge with incredible speed who even with one sack could change a game and they benched him.  They also benched their fastest rb.

It was 7-0 Dallas before ZW even stepped on the field yesterday.  This in a game where we all knew the rest of the team was going to have to support the QB.  Dak also completed his first 13 passes yesterday when our defense was fully rested (putting to bed the "T.O.P. was the reason" argument).

Not blaming wilson for this loss as there’s certainly enough to go around.  But the problem with ZW is that he’s not a guy who can rally you from behind, so the rest of the team has little margin for error.  There are simply going to be games when you need a Superman game from the qb even for a half and he’s not that guy.
