Disaster in Dallas; Jets Blown out 30-10 by Cowboys as O-Line Gets Battered

It was an ugly game for the Jets from the word go.  Whether it was the Dallas offense marching down the field at will or the Jets offensive line looking more like matadors than football players, the 30-10 loss was well deserved.

Prior to the game the prevailing school of thought was that a dominant Jets defense and running game would mean all quarterback Zach Wilson would have to do is manage the game.  For the first 3-plus quarters Wilson did just that.  Despite being under constant duress (Jets allowed a 70% pressure rate), Wilson protected the ball and hung in the pocket.

Once down by three scores in the final quarter, Wilson pressed and threw three interceptions.  One of the three appeared to be the result of a miscommunication with running back Michael Carter.

The Jets defense couldn’t get a stop on third down, the offensive line couldn’t contain the Cowboys pass rush and their running backs had a total of 24 yards on 10 carries.

That’s just not going to get it done.
