Parsons is the best defensive player in the game and it’s not even close

It’s basically impossible to scheme against him and even if you call the right protections to stop him he just blows through it. He the closest thing I’ve seen to Lawrence Taylor in the past 30 years.

Stop. The Jets were always picking a QB with the 2OA pick and this board with have melted down if they did not. Unfortunately they won a meaningless December game against the Jags and they weren't able to pick Lawrence instead.

Parsons certainly put on a show.  Sometimes you can pin a win on a single player and yesterday he won the game for the cowgirls.  The jets had no answer and couldn’t block him.

Cowboys only drafted him because corners went at #8 and #9. Boys traded back with Philly at #10, then took him at #12 overall.

Sometimes you get a little lucky too.

He's  good but with Brown in front him he looked All-Universe. It's not hard for a young DE to go to work on a 39 year blocker with late reflexes.

I believe he just set the NFL record for most sacks in his 1st 35 games as a pro.

There is no counter argument to this. He’s destroyed his first two opponents this season. He looks unstoppable.

I don’t like the Cowboys, but if them dominating haunts the Giants and Eagles… it’s not the worst thing.

Other than Zach, Lance and maybe Horn, you can't really argue with any of those earlier selections. Tough year to be locked in on a QB and not picking first.

And to be fair, if we had kept Sam we'd likely have been looking at OL / WR instead of QB anyway. Highly doubt Parsons would have been on the radar (barring a trade down).

Who knows ... probably don't end up with half the team we currently have (for better or worse), possibly we're all moaning about our new GM having drafted the worst QB ever in 22 or 23. No Rodgers (though that might also not have been the worst scenario, knowing where we are now).

Yeah sure.

Fans would be pissed to have a 1st team all Pro in Micah Parsons and rioting at 1JD for having passed on Zach Wilson.

Even if a team played Parsons exclusively as an off the ball linebacker he’d thrive in that role as well.

Just wondering if people, both fans and media are still as usual laughing at Jerry Jones and Mike McCarthy?  Under McCarthy Dallas has had a top tier offense most of his tenure and people still wanted to fire the guy every year in favor of Sean Payton

Jerry Jones gets just zero credit for multiple times assembling good to great contending rosters and making smart moves.
