I feel as though it was more then 5 times but yeah not many times more then that did they need to send an extra, Parsons was basically playing like 4 guys himself....but why is this surprising either way?  They were protecting a 2 score lead for majority of the 2nd half vs. an offense who did nothing except take a 5 yard slant to the house because of a poor tackling angle.  There was no reason to blitz.  Just let Parsons wreak havoc and watch Zach Wilson fold like a lawn chair.

That said, not every team has Parson and Lawrence on their edges w/ Gilmore and Diggs on the outside.

It was a great call, great play action that froze Vander Esch, great protection and a great route. The ball was delivered right to the numbers. Let's not diminish the execution of the play.

No it doesn't count because GW ran all the yards... Zach only got him the ball that's not credit worthy

Got it... Everyone had a bad game but because of hatred for Zach it's still his fault...

Hatred aside, Zach needs to step up and play well.

This team needs to run behind AVT and Becton. They need Zach to sell the run on the play action and throw strikes when receivers are open. And more importantly, receivers need to catch the ball.

The OL is what it is, but this coaching staff has to do a better job in helping them out. If it means replacing CMcG and Uzumah, then so be it. Because I seriously doubt belly-flopping is a technique they are teaching now.

I agree...it's time for big boy pants... Zach needs to start showing signs that he can be the man soon ... maybe not all at once ... but it's got to happen soon.

Agreed, but the coaching staff also needs to help Zach out so he is not running for his life...

Running empty sets all second half was insane with the pressure Parsons was bringing... The game was within reach till the fourth quarter...

Also just let sauce do Revis things... Play 10 vs 10...

Didnt say it wasnt but that doesnt change the fact that safety took an awful route that led to the run after the catch but more importantly, even w/ great execution or whatever, that was it.  That was all the offense did for the entire first half.  1 play.  You're not shook by that if you're the Cowboys.  You're encouraged and even more of a reason not to blitz.  That was my point.

They had a nice drive in the 2 minute drill. But after that, you are correct nothing.

Okay, the cowgirls had good pressure and the consensus seems to be that Zach folded like a cheap tent.  But for all that pressure Zach did make a couple of nice throwing decision.  There was the deflected pass to the end zone for g Wilson and then another long sideline pass to Wilson that was deflected by the defender.  And there was that deep pass that was intercepted.  All of those balls were long and had good accuracy.  The defense just made good plays.

Saleh's D doesn't have his best corner shadow the best WR....his best corner plays on one side. Does this help? Having Sauce stay on the defensive left side? Maybe. Having Sauce 'shut down' the left side MIGHT allow the other defenders to protect the right side. If Safties aren't 'too worried' about what's happening over there, they can focus over here.

I could be wrong but I recall when Revis was young, he stayed on one side. He shut down half the field, allowing the other defenders to focus on their half. It wasn't until a bit later that Revis started moving around, shadowing the WR1. We also had Revis shadow WR2 at times and then double teamed WR1 on the other side.

Lots of ways to skin the cat I presume. But to be honest, Sauce ain't looking to good yet this season. Dropping that pick 6 didn't help either. Could have gone up 14-10 at that point. Anywho...maybe we don't want Sauce shadow boxing WR1 just yet.
