We should be very upset!

I didnt have time to get upset. The season was over after 4 plays on offense.

1) 12:30 left in the first quarter: Hall runs for 26 yards. Let’s Go!!!!! 🔥

2) Rodgers throws the ball away. Shake off the rust Rodgers and let’s go.

3) Rodgers pass incomplete to Conklin. Oh sh*t. 👀

4) 11:40 left in the first quarter: Rodgers sacked injured.🥶 ⬅️ At this point I should have lost hope but I was like maybe Zach is different 🙏🏼 🧐

They took a shot. It doesn't always work. I think it was still a good shot to take.

I don't.

Not only did they put their hopes into a 40 year old, Douglas also GM'd like this wasn't an all in season outside of Rodgers. Many people commented on this and got dog piled of course.

This was basically the same team as last year and we took a project in the first round. This team wasn't a QB away.

This will be said and no one can dispute it because there is no evidence to dispute it. We never saw what the team would look like with a real QB. Having a bad QB changes a lot about the way teams play against you and what you can try on offense.

IMO we would have been right in the mix with a healthy Rodgers. Maybe next year we'll get to see.

Rodgers was the only option that gave us a real shot at beating teams like the Chiefs & Bengals in the playoffs. I'm glad we took the shot. Sucks balls it didn't work out, especially so quickly.

btw, I think Rodgers would have nixed all the empty backfield crap against the Cowboys that gave Parsons 1 on 1s pretty quickly.

Rodgers looked old last year. He looked old in his 4 plays here.

Just wondering...if u cut Wilson now...who would pick him up?

Someone would pick him up at the minimum, since the Jets have guaranteed his salary this year and next year.

But more depressingly, the Panthers picked up Darnold's 4th contract year and paid a 2nd round pick plus for him.  The Cowboys gave up a 4th round pick to pay Trey Lance's 3rd and 4th guaranteed contract year.

I don't see any team paying anything, other than a veteran lottery ticket, for Zach Wilson.

I know most of you have being around JN longer than me. I did perhaps lost touch after JI was bought out. I did have a 386x CPU back in 1997 with AOL internet with a whooping 1mb per minute.  My point is that I have being around for a long time cheering this team.

We should be very upset and stop pretending that we are fine because we are not. Saleh is also about to lose the locker room with angry players such as Hall and I am sure he stirred the fire with his dumb comments.

As far as the offseason,  I was not a strong advocate for Aaron Rodgers and I really wanted Carr--who by the way is 2-0--due to his cap-friendly contract, non-compensation (draft picks), age, durability and experience. Once Rodgers became a Jet, the only choice was to root for him 110%.  Unfortunately, I had a gut feeling that he wasn't going to last the entire season and it obviously became fruition.

The thing that upsets me the most is that we didn't take care of the Oline. We brought back an aging LT, a mediocre C (it was a damn good deal for the Jets  cap wise), multiple injured players returning (Becton, Maxwell, AVT, Brown). a major bust LG (another JD gem), I mean, the sh*t just keeps on piling like fertilizer on a kimchi field.  But the worst part of all was entrusting Zach WIlson as the back-up QB. This action illustrated the obsessive infatuation for this kid.  Numbers don't lie and Wilson has been at the bottom of the barrel on all stats.  Why not bring a reliable back-up QB?

I am very certain that we universally think Zach Wilson is the biggest bust in NY Jets history (sorry Gholston!).  It is understandable that we feel an attachment towards him, mainly because we drafted him (blood related feeling), but this is a business and you have to honor your customers.  As fans, we deserve a better upper management and a hybrid head coach to run our beloved NY Jets, because 5 years of mismanagement from the current office and terrible coaching is long enough.

We should be very upset!

Im upset as a consumer that they didnt bring in a competent backup to at least compete this year, and that the O line was STILL suspect. I think most fans feel the same way. Seeing Zach again after last year was a real kick in the balls. If this was Teddy B or whomever was available, it may still suck, but its not a foregone conclusion how the season goes down, there is at least some excitement. I watch and root every week, but I know where this is going. Similar to how I feel about the Cashman led yankees.

Why should we be upset at all?  We lost to a legit SB team on the road on a short week.  The loss isn't in division or confrence.  We beat NE and this team is right on schedule to make the playoffs.

This team is really good despite being second rate in coaching and QB.  You can win with talent in the NFL.

Looked like a guy who had some early season with a new team for the first time in 15 years jitters. ******* hell.

Or, maybe the 40 year old who looked old and injured last year, who had his worst season in his career, his time has passed.

How many QBs in the history of the NFL have played well at his age?

Agreed and I think the biggest issue was that a better backup QB wasn't brought in, especially if they were treating this year as Zach Wilson's redshirt year to sit back and learn.

This is a win now team and should have brought in a vet backup and carried 3 QBs (not ideal but you can't have your cake and eat it too).

But I think organizationally they are fine giving up wins now that Rodgers is hurt. They'll know if Zach Wilson has a future with this team or not by season's end. That thinking (if its true but it does seem that way) is kind of absurd and will fracture the locker room and turn this team off from free agents.

If they don’t no that Zach Wilson has no future in this league they should not have the responsibility of running a professional franchise.

He was not the worst part, but he made no one around him better and did not deal well with the pressure Dallas gave him.

Shame on the OC for not adjusting and calling better plays in the 2nd half, and shame on JD - once again, no quality QB backup and a troubled OL.

Zach had a great opportunity to rack up some garbage yard stats and those additional interceptions, damn. That INT to Michael Carter looked like an Xbox glitch. Should have been able to dink and dunk his way to stats that looked decent but didn't impact the game. Scary that he wasn't able to do that. Dallas didn't let up but still.

Yay another forfeited season.  This is like 8 seasons in a row of this.
