We are 1-1, 1-0 in the division and playing an inferior and 0-2 team at home on Sunday. People acting like we are 4-10 and was just eliminated from playoff contention.

But does it feel like we are going to have a good game against the Pats? I'm hoping we do, but this feels so similar to what we saw last year with Zack (the only place he seems to have improved is his press-conference skills.

Crazy to me how low this forum can get after one loss.  I mean I knew some players/coaches/etc would take a hit once we lost a game, but the threads in this place as if the season is over....like, to some it's a FACT that it's done.  No shot.  Fire everyone.  Get rid of this guy, he's trash.  Shouldn't have drafted that guy.  I wanted this other dude all along(in reality the dude I really wanted hasn't done sh*t either, but now I'm going to pretend like I was banging the drum of this other guy who just had a solid week).

My personal favorite though is the change in narrative.  I mean, there were pessimistic fans even before the season.  However they were usually crowing on about how Rodgers is washed.  Now it's "we all knew he was gonna get hurt".  Or about how we needed to draft Broderick Jones to protect ourselves from a Becton injury.  Now it's changed to "we knew Brown was washed".  No matter what happens, there will always be the "I told you so"s, even though they didn't actually tell us sh*t.  I think some fans would rather blow their hot, steaming hate load than they would see this team actually succeed.

It ain't easy being a Jets fan.  We're our own worst enemy.  Now hit me with the "thumbs down" or "facepalm" emotes because I'm a dirty koolaid drinker.

Hackett better have a plan for this kid, so far very unimpressive play calling.

I wonder about Hackett as well but that last game was 100% on the OL and the OL scheme.  So I guess that is on Hackett.

PS: just an observation by why in hell is it ok for any HC to be this hands off on the O side of the ball?

We will see. If you watch any of the videos on Zach's tape from last week he is noticeably better in all areas. Even Sabo was impressed and he is one of the biggest Zach skeptics out there. This game is huge. If we win and Zach is good, it would be massive.

I wanted Derek Carr because he cost us nothing in terms of draft capital. The reason it didn't happen was because the Jets wanted to salvage Zach Wilson with almost 40 year old Rodgers as his idilol/mentor for 1 to 2 seasons. Rodgers certainly was the better choice to get the apathetic Jets fanbase excited about the upcoming 2023 season. The better off-season choice at quarterback was Carr imho, but with that said, no use getting upset over spilt milk. I'm hopeful Rodgers being here as a mentor for Zach will help Zach realize some of his potential so the Jets can get in the playoffs.

Are you actually saying Carr is the better QB and the better immediate choice?  I was fine if they chose to sign Carr but while I get he’s not injured and Rodgers is, Rodgers is the better QB.

One loss and a 1-1 record after 2 games as underdogs and the sky is falling routine is in full swing.

2 years of losses with the combination of Douglas-Salah-Zach Wilson.

You have 2 more days to hide behind the "its only 1 loss" excuse.  When the Defcon 4 thread is open around 4:00pm EST on Sunday, there will be no more excuses.  There will be no more hiding.  It will be open season on everyone.

You still think your sh!t sandwich is a filet mignon.  That ends on Sunday.

I see people whining about JD and Saleh here and see an entire world that disagrees.
Youve gone from we have the bestest owner, the bestest GM, bestest HC to the exact opposite.  Congrats.

I have a three year body of evidence to roll with, you go ahead with your narrative.

I have over 100 years of football saying what was true 2 years, one year ago doesn’t mean things can’t change in year 3.
And again, it’s 2 games, 1-1

I love Pearl Jam.  They have not had a good album since Vitalogy.  Things change in life.  It hits all of us at different times.

After the assbeat Sunday, I will see you in the Defcon 4 thread.  I think you will be ready to get honest.

That’s the point of a forum. To vent and have debates. You act like this is some franchise that is winning - they are the worst team in professional sports over the last decade. The fans have no impact over what happens on the field. Rodgers going down was the equivalent of about 8 losses. If you think everything is sunshine and rainbows, that’s fine. You’re allowed to post about that. But fans have every right to criticize this team.

Uggggg.  I wish it turned out differently, but at least we now know - it's really time to move on from Zach.

Do you believe in patterns?  Because it has folded in front of  your eyes.

lol patterns?  You had people calling for firings after being 1-0, because they're upset our QB got hurt, something 95% of the teams in this league wouldn't survive.  This is the most reactionary fanbase on earth.  To act like it isn't is a joke.  You literally have people dissecting Rodgers' 4 snaps to see if he's "washed".  C'mon man.

Some people watch every game in the nfl. Even every game in Green Bay. He looked washed all Season 2022/23

There are no assumptions here because Zach stinks objectively.  The lack thereof to have a true backup QB is neglectful and should be a fireable offense...no pun intended.

My guy....you literally had threads breaking down his 4 plays frame by frame.  People breaking out magnifying glasses.....you're gonna talk to me about last year?  Ok, let's talk about last year:

3695, 26/12 is washed?  Clearly you haven't been watching Jets games if that's washed.  You'd get on your knees and polish a knob for those numbers here.  (won't even bring up the fractured thumb...surely either that didn't matter, or just proves we were trading for a brittle QB - whatever argument fits best)
