Not gonna lie was shocked when I saw somebody actually ranked us as a top 10 team. Maybe we are all overreacting a bit as some National guys still see us as a top team? We did beat Buffalo and Dallas is currently ranked 1st. Guess this week will be a big test and we can fall all the way to the 20s if we don’t show up lol

Yes the fan base and national media as a whole is overreacting to the Dallas loss...

It was a tough task against a top tier team on their home opener, on a short week, and the jets just lost their HOF QB, with superbowl asperations and got beat up by a better prepared qb and coaching staff...

Does that mean that the team is worse than last year with a healthy team, no... It's going to be a lot harder to win... But this is better than the team at the beginning of last year...

The OL is going to take time to gel... It's preseason for them... Breece is still recovering... The defense probably had its worst game of the year and the jets are still going to win a lot of games...

Nobody here or in the national media will believe until they show it... And they will... This is a superbowl caliber team with AR and depending on how well the coaching staff and Zach can manage the offense will determine how good they can be now.

I will get flamed for this.. But it's the reality of the situation... Most fans are butt hurt over the way ZW performed at the end of the year and are afraid it will happen again...

But again the reality is ZW is going to be the QB the rest of the year whether they bitch and cry or not... So you can choose to stop watching or just have faith in the process that the team will improve from this ugly loss

PFT isn't overreacting...

Short money is to take Jets money line... An angry embarassed team coming home getting points against an inferior team... Easy money

The thing people are leaving out is that even with Rodgers the jets would be 1-1 or even 0-2.  I suppose you can say the offense would’ve played better but that Dallas defense just dominated the oline in all respects.  And it was pretty clear the Buffalo defense was going to do well too.

Trying to tell ya'll, relax.  These first 2 weeks in this extended schedule are very much, about figuring it out now that you see how teams are actually game planning for you.  Even the best teams.  Ofcourse you're trying to win, every game matters but I think every team these days are great w/ coming out the gates 1-1 w/ some meaningful film to use for adjustments.

If you remember last year, they were a miracle away from starting 0-3, the defense looked very suspect and then of all things, Zach Wilson got healthy, the defense got right, won 4 straight and the next 6 of 8 w/ both losses coming from these scumbag POS cheaters.  This team is going to be absolutely fired up and ready to rip of heads.

Do we know if they were aware that Rodgers is out for the season when they made those rankings?  I mean the Cowboy game went from 3 1/2 to 9 when Rodgers went down.  I am sure we would be favored by at least 3 against the Pats compared to +3.  That's a 6 point swing which in the NFL is the difference between winning and losing about half the games.  Based on how the gambling market is treating this our season went down the drain with Rodgers' Achilles and unless some kind of miraculous development occurs within our QB room I am unfortunately inclined to agree.

I would have sworn with Zach at QB the jets would have been around 35

I won’t criticize anyone for panicking about this team, or thinking we’re ****ed this year, but the fact remains we’ve played two great teams to start the year. Not trying to make excuses, or even imply that we’re in good shape. The fact remains though, our only loss so far might have been against the best team in football.

This performance against New England imo will tell us the most about what kind of team this is. If you expect to be a good team, this is the game you have to win. New England performed valiantly so far but they’re 0-2. Why?  Because they faced good teams. If that’s what we expect to be, the result should be no different.

Huge test for the coaching staff and Zach on Sunday.

We’re already a miracle away from starting 0-2 this year. LOL.

Just goes to show just how good of a roster we have that’s going to waste.

No truer words. I hope they change the game.plan. if you are going to stick with Zach give him the ground and pound game plan, throwing 20 times a game with slot of blockers and te sets. Not the 3 wide and e.pty sets

I think you are right, NE for as much as they want to be seen as a good team is not. So it is a measuring stick. If we lose we are not better than them

Last year we should have won both games and just couldn't score. I think that will happen again unless they let b hall and cook run it alot.

Which they should
