I get a kick out of Zach's fan club talking crap about Mac Jones:

2022 review

Stats: 14 games (14 starts) | 828 offensive snaps (78.7%) | 442 attempts, 228 completions (65.2%), 2,997 yards, 14 TDs, 11 INTs | 34 sacks, 5 fumbles | 1 rushing TD

Its the same as Bears fans all summer bashing Jordan Love mericessly.  They now have scattered like cockroaches and are nowhere to be found.

65.2% , will Zach ever reach 60%?

I think as soon as is pressure rates against Zach get to normal rates in the less than 30% mark and he is not throwing the ball away every other throw than yes...

I see big improvement in how he played the last 2 games... I know that the stats don't bear it out against 2 very tough defenses...

But between the way Zach doesn't have happy feet. The turnover free ball until the game got out of hand and he started forcing throws he played very well.

He took off when the pocket collapsed behind him... He threw it away rather than taking terrible sacks... He drove the offense in critical situations to put them in position to win in the Buffalo game and at the end of the half in Dallas..

Most of his throws were realitively accurate except one Bad INT in the Buffalo game and he started panicking to score at the end of the Dallas game knowing that time was against him down 3 scores...

I get the hatred for Zach... I really do... But I also think AR coming here had a huge impact on him... And although a lot of people here will say he is terrible, he has been serviceable in both games so far this season... With a championship defense in both games they would have had a chance to beat 2 of the top 8 teams in football...

Unserviceable is not even being in the game and both games would have been blowouts...

The Stat whores around here will throw all these numbers around that are out of context... Saying, lump all the years together and all the terrible play over the last 2 years is the normal and the middle of the road performances against 2 top 5 defenses is not going to translate to better play against lesser defenses...

Without looking at box score did Zach Wilson give the jets a chance to win in the first half of the Dallas game and the end buffalo game... I would say yes... Those are 2 playoff/superbowl teams

That is the definition of serviceable... What they want is AR leading a top 10 offense... But that is now gone and the jets have mark Sanchez... Now can they win like 2009 with Sanchez numbers

When will he start producing Mark Sanchez numbers?

Do you just do this for comic relief or do you really not see that Zach kept the team in the game in Buffalo and the first half of Dallas...

The second half of Dallas game was a lot on the OC getting away from running the ball doing empty sets and Zach was getting crushed...

That is serviceable QB, against weaker defenses he will put up much better numbers to exceed your Sanchez numbers...

If you really don't see any difference Zach now versus last year against top tier defenses I am not sure that we can have a reasonable discussion
