But even if he does really well, the question is do you walk away from that confident as a Jets fan ? I a little wary if Zach needs cheerleaders to perform decent. It’s not his fault (in a sense) he doesn’t currently have the bandwidth to play the position. For starters, benching Brown, Tomlinson, McGovern and Uzomah. Running Breece behind AVT, Becton and Ruckert. Rolling Zach out of the pocket. Couple play actions on first down against a stacked box so Zach doesn’t get into a lot of early 3rd and longs. In reality fans will not be just booing him but everyone will focus on that. Maybe a year or two on the bench like Aaron Rodgers and Pat Mahomes and now Jordan Love would have helped in these areas but that ship has long since left port unfortunately. The boos will come from frustration that this is the 3rd year and its exactly as inept as the 1st 2 years. The offense has about a quarter, maybe 3 drives to put points on the board. If its punt, punt, punt, the whole stadium should be booing. No one wants to do this. And this team controls what happens in that stadium on Sunday. Go down the field and get a td on the opening drive. The stadium will go nuts.
