... and so it begins ...

They are two weeks in and the guy the offense was built around and goes through lasted 4 plays.

there is now an adjustment period and while I get the media needs to get these guys to respond, I have to put this on the coach to have a no exception policy when it comes to comments that need to stay within

I get where he's coming from, BUT when an offense gets so few snaps compared to the other offense, it becomes really hard for the OC, QB, WRs, etc to get anything going. 3 and out after 3 and out after 3 and out and ending up with half the snaps the other team had, makes it impossible to get other players onto the field. If we can't move the ball with our BEST players, the other guys will just end up watching from the sidelines.

I'm quite surprised as well but he answered it well, didnt seem like anything to be concerned about.  Seems like a weapon that Zach could use around the LOS and get some serious yac but its week 2, hopefully they start figure out how to best use all this talent.

A weapon that Zach can use ??? Zach *IS* the weapon.  A weapon in service of the opposing team.   How can anyone at this point see or consider Zach Wilson as anything other than an absolute bust.  By the statistics and by the eye test, he is not just awful... He is clearly the worst QB in the league.

You could starve him for three weeks and that some bitch would still not be able to hit his dinner plate with a fork.

Give it the f**k up.  He sucks.

You cant possibly be as stupid as Joe Douglas and or Robert Saleh.

Both of those fools are queer to ride the ship all the way down to Davy Jones' Locker with their prize bust QB.

I don't think this guy is anything special but would probably prefer to see him getting snaps than dusty balls corn on the Cobb. I wonder if Hardman is having trouble picking up the offense.

Agree.

Clearly Hackett prefers Cobb but now that Rodgers is injured I’d prefer to see Hardman on the field. At a minimum he brings speed that can stretch the field.

wow, ok, soooo, at no point did I suggest Zach was good, simply, Hardman you would think gives them a chance to make things easier on the sh*tty QB but maybe they just forfeit?

Makes you wonder why he drafted him and let him be the #2 WR for those Super Bowl runs.

Kelce, Tyreek and a bunch of other guys.  Once Hill left KC the grand thought was that hardman would fill his shoes becasue, he's fast.   Reid liked him so much they dumped him in favor of kadraius toney and sky moore.

He can run fast in a straight line, he has lousy football instincts does not make use of that speed, his hands are mediocre at best he's just not that great.

Now as to why he is not being given a chance now?  Because Rodgers and Hackett like a jag they know better in Randall Cobb. Using Cobb is keeping Harman on the bench and that in itself is ridiculous and was a huge worry when we started bringig in all of these ex green bay buddies of Rodgers.

First of all.  Nothing personal.  The tenor of my post has nothing to do with you.  It is a reaction to a pitiful organization and their garbage results.  AGAIN.

Forfeit would be the smart play at this point.  At least their would not be any injuries to the ones that can actually make a contribution.

The season ended after four snaps BECAUSE the idiot GM made no attempt to back up a 40 y/o QB with a player that can step in and run the offense.  The pretzel breaking Einstein just had to stick with his awful draft pick as he clearly does not have the man-chops to admit a mistake and correct it.

Add to that, you have a HC that is too dense to let his best cover corner handle the opposing team's top WR.

With the defensive stable the Jets have, any DC with five cents worth of brains would be playing press man with Sauce on the best WR while overload blitzing on any and every play other than clear short yardage situations.  Saleh has ZERO scheme in that defense.  You've got all kinds of manpower going to waste.  Rex Ryan or LeBeau or Belichick would have a field day with the Jets defensive roster.

The idiot factor is off the charts.

Hardman is on a 1 year deal and every week is an audition for next season.   He needs touches to get paid, winning is definitely secondary.

I stopped reading after "we should forfeit because we didn't bring in a good BACKUP".  Do people really believe we'd be in good shape with Gardner Minshew?  I'm genuinely curious.

As we all know, KC would be fine without Mahomes.  Cincy would be fine without Burrow.  Philly would be fine without Hurts.  Fins without Tua.  At some point, shouldn't it occur to you that "maybe I'm being a bit unreasonable"?  Sometimes sh*t just happens.  Your QB going down, especially if he's considered a great one, is something that few teams would be able to recover from.  Unless of course you have some kid waiting in the wings ready to step up(Brady for Bledsoe).  We don't have one of those.  Zach was the closest thing, and so far it doesn't look good.  But to think there are guys like 2018 Nick Foles available that we missed out on.....it's just not the case.

This is the correct answer, he's a jag.  I winced when I heard the jets had signed him.

Did you want berrios back?  I mean he’s probably not much of an upgrade at the position but he is an upgrade and I think the money was close to the same. Right now I think the bigger issue, besides oline, is how to replace Davis.

We should have our TEs and RBs on the field and not some #3-4 jag WR.  2 WR sets is the way to go with how this team is built.  I'd rather see Gipson get snaps over Hardmen if it comes to that.  Def not Cobb.  The WR room is very low on my list of rooms that need more playing time.

This is a great idea, which is probably why Hackett hasn't implemented it.

Heavy personnel will help the run game, and more importantly, perhaps, it is much easier to throw out of heavy personnel for 2 reasons:

1) Defense isn't expecting you to throw

2) Defense has more of their fat slow linemen and run-stuffing 'backers out there, so it's easier to exploit those matchups in the pass game

3) Play-action / boot action out of heavy is particularly effective
