Woody has as relationship with Zach's uncle, David Neeleman, the founder of JetBlue... Billionaires run in their own circles... Many of the tickets have already been sold with the Rodgers hype... I think Woody is willing to chance sacrificing the season as a favor to his buddy... And Saleh and JD have assurances from Woody that they will keep their jobs... It is the only thing that may explain Saleh/JD continuing to support this failure of a QB... Refusing to hold the QB accountable is an easy way to ensure it implodes. 53 guys get held accountable on this roster except 1. Saleh isn't doing anyone any favors. He needs to just say "He needs to be better" and leave it at that. Especially if you're right that they're looking to make a move for a QB. Who cares about Wilson's confidence when his Jets career is over regardless? Carson Wentz is a free agent and reached out to the Jets. This is a fact. The Jets don’t want to sign him because why exactly? We can see this.... Any tough love will sink this kid to new lows... And the team will riot... Rangers9 Posted September 26 Share Posted September 26 I don't think Woody is the reason behind sticking with Zach. He was Ok with them not only benching him last year but deactivating him. And he was all on board with signing Rodgers spending that amount of cash on him. I think if Zach can't run the offense on Sunday they'll pull him which they should have done against NEP.
