Zach All 22. Look at the tape :(

Recommended Posts

Shocking…

You could see on TV the one where he stared down the WR for like 5 seconds then tried to squeeze it in between 2 defenders

Didn’t even pretend to look anywhere else

This bub has no feel for the game.  None.

You can see why he had to fight for the starting job at BYU the year he freaking capitalized on pandemic football and a COVID schedule

WRs open.

Zach either blimd or scared, possibly both.

Check down Charlie in big moments, as if those are his primary reads.

I will never watch another Jets game that Zach starts in.  I felt so much better on Sunday not watching.  Therapeutic.

If they don’t replace him immediately, Saleh will 100% lose the locker room.  These are players careers.

We knew all this before the season started.

Uhhh watch the tape guys. Wrs are covered. The oline didn’t even try to block and Hackett didn’t call any of the good plays. Zach Wilson is not the problem. He’s probably our best player

Zach Wilson was a top 3 player on the Jets vs Dallas through 3 quarters

What‘s been really exasperating is how vocal all of these guys are about Zach Wilson’s terrible play. Even the guys like Nate Tice who try to say positive stuff about players speaks about Wilson with transparent disgust. The Manning bros, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Romo, Namath, Aikman, on and on. It’s as sad as it is eye-opening.

Yes

I used to like reading Robby Sabo but he’s gone soft since he sold Elite Sports or whatever and founded Jet-X

Sabo is inexplicably still carrying the regime’s water when it comes to ZW

”Kid has all the physical tools”

”It’s all mental for him right now”

”Kid just needs to get out of his own head”

I like Sabo, but when you’re a fringe digital entity, you can’t upset the apple cart if you want to maintain access to the team and its resources. Maxman knows all too well what happens to your press passes when you disparage the organization.

As I couldn’t get on this site yesterday, I was reading the beat guys on Twitter the whole game. Thought it was amusing that they spent the whole game implicitly defending Zach Wilson (Hackett stinks! Pass protection is bad! Receivers are dropping passes! No Hardman or Ruckert?). But then about an hour after the game, and all within ten minutes of each other, Rosenblatt, Hughes, and Cimini each blasted out content with the same theme—the Jets have to move on from Zach Wilson. They aren’t writing those pieces unless they got the ok from inside the Jets building. I would imagine they’re all in the same group text with Hackett or a press envoy (if not Saleh himself) and they were given the blessing to finally unload.

He’s a net negative, which the eye test as well as his -EPA and all objective measures attest to.

Wentz is bad but he’s Warren Moon compared to ZW.

This is by far the most anemic, unwatchable offense in the league.

ZW for 17 games would set NFL records for futility.

Now if they were actually fully committed to a tank for a QB, I think that’s the best option.

But they’re actually trying to compete with ZW, which is just ridiculous, a fool’s errand, chasing wind, trying to be Sisyphus, etc.

Enunwa was kind of cooking Nania today about this

He cooked him a little bit.  Basically said his knowledge of the game was not up to par with his film skills.

I heard today another explanation that puts this as much on coaching as on Zach. Basically what this analyst said is that Zach is being coached to read short to long, If that is the case he will miss these all the time but he's doing what he is being coached to do. I believe this is actually the case,

I would 100% believe that.  I also wouldn't be surprised if BB picked up on it and intentionally overloaded the flat with tacklers (after allowing a guy to be open very short).

Zach Wilson:  Empirically the worst QB in NFL history with 17+ starts.

15+ % of JN up till Sunday, now down to like 3 people:  “UR STILL JUST A HATER”

This organization the only one stupid enough to give a QB this bad even close to 17 starts.

I agree with everything expect I'll still be watching.  Therapy sounds pretty good though.  Can Jets fans get a group rate?
