Dalvin got 1 year $7M.

Zeke got 1 year $3M.

Zeke looked far better yesterday and it wasn't even close.

Very true and I considered that yesterday too.   But when you factor in that none of our RBs ran well, it makes me wonder if its Cook or the offense including the line.

We all new Cook was washed.  Except GM Aaron Rodgers.

we let Rodgers ruin this team.

no backup QB. got a RB we didnt need... and we dont even have Rodgers.

disaster. we should have got Carr.

Well, the Saints are now 3-0. Beat a good team at home. I'm still not ready to concede the point, but I'm moving in that direction. Thing is, Carr read the tea leaves, he knew JD was sticking with Zach. LOL

OMG this is a nightmare.

and we would have that draft pick that we could have got the OT we all wanted. and a 2nd rd pick next year.

plus Carr would have signed for 4 years so no reason to keep and develop Zach.

and we wouldnt have Rodgers friends....Cobb, Boyle, Turner...

its a win-win.

I remember making the comment that Zeke would be the better option for cheaper, and then we would have some room just in case.

And that was thought of as absurd.

And yet....it's not.

Cook is starting to remind me of 2 yard Thomas Jones.

seems that his best years are long gone. What a shame

It’s almost like it’s dumb to shell out $7M+  to a washed RB (who was cut by a team who didn’t even have a quality replacement lined up) when your team still needs a QB2 and could also use a WR upgrade.

If only there were folks here arguing this very thing all summer.  If only….

It's curious though, they are holding back all the 'weapons'... Why?

There is something bigger going on...

McD, Izzy, Ruckert, Mecole, Gipson, Brownlee, Breece Hall on a snap count...

Like they are waiting for the second half of year or something...

Maybe injuries they are afraid of...

Just weird

Joe Douglas is lost right now.

I'd have to agree, and that's hard for me to say because I am (or was) a big supporter of JD. He needs to stop looking around at who is going to be butt hurt when he makes the tough decisions and just make them. This is his team personnel wise. He took an extreme gamble with the whole AR at QB, and now it's biting him in the ass. I was against it then, and I'm still against it now. We need someone in the big seat that can make the right decisions for this franchise for once in it's miserable existence.
