Mike Tannebaum, Connor Hughes set up quite the scam. Jet Fans played for suckers

Yes that's right. Jet Fans were played by Hughes who is the instigator of this blow out over Zach Wilson.

It all started Thursday Night after the Giants were thumped by the 49ers. But first stop to consider how Zach played against the Cowboys. He threw 3 interceptions ..... ALL late in the game . And ALL AFTER the Cowboys scored all 30 Points accumulated in the game. None of those INTs resulted in any points and all came after the game was decided. Zach came clean in the Post Game Press Conference and said his play contributed to the loss. So the Press had to restrain themselves lest they be viewed as picking on Zach. Now advance to the game against New England. Zach played a better game against New England committing ZERO Turnovers. No fumbles and no interceptions. Saleh even took note it in his Monday Morning Press Conference. This leads me to conclude that Saleh passed word to Zach to eliminate the turnovers against New England. This message is typical of Headcoaches that come from a Defense oriented background and Saleh is no exceptions. They want the Defense to pitch shutouts and the Offense to grind out the football on the ground (something which the Jets did not do).

If the media wanted to go after Zach they had plenty of ammunition after the Jets Week 2 Loss to Dallas. So why did the NY Press choose to go after Zach this week ? Well it can be traced back to the Thursday Night Game when the 49ers shellacked the NY Giants. You mean?  Dare I say it?  Zach was good against the Pats and we're all being manipulated to think he sucked?  I'm shocked and appalled.  I'm going t rip my lying eyes out of their sockets immediately.

This takes some leaps but I likewise find it interesting how much time and energy the Jets beat spent on selling the idea that Zach Wilson was magically becoming good when it was clear all summer that he was the same suckbag he’s been for two years.

It all started on Tuesday night. I bumped into Mike Maccagnan at a Dunkin Donuts. He said Rodgers is not really hurt and that Manish Mehta and Woody Johnson are scamming us.

Aaron Rodgers mentored Zach like he's mentored so many young QB over the years.

Much more to come ......... I tried to amend it but the thread has timed out. Whats printed above is less than a quarter of the post. I'll have to get back to it. I will say this now Tanny went and blasted the Giants Friday for signing Daniels Jones to a 40 million dollar contract this set into motion a campaign of retribution against the Jets. The timing is uncanny. The Jets Youtubers are being snookered into fronting for this operation.

The Jets didn't put anything into Zach this summer. Did you really expect him to be better than he was at the end of 2022?

I’m confused.  Is the OP trying to say there was a Manchurian Candidate like conspiracy where we were all mass hypnotized into seeing Zach Wilson suck donkey balls for three hours this past Sunday?  Or Is he saying Zach Wilson was also hypnotized and is actually operating unknowingly as a foreign agent for Bill Belichek? If the latter is the case it actually makes perfect sense.  The former not so much.

You dared wrong.

But he wasn't bad either. He did exactly as he was told, eliminate the turnovers. Which he did. No INTs and no fumbles. Saleh even made note of it in his Monday Morning Presser and stated it was the reason the Jets were in the game with 1:44 left on the clock.

When I heard Saleh's presser I threw up in my mouth.  "... you can never be too boring" ... "this is our brand of football ... no turnovers, count on the defense to give us a chance in the fourth" ... "no turnovers and safe football" .... in other words ... DONT LOSE THE GAME. As opposed to win the game.

Pretty much said the same thing to my wife when she asked what was up with Namath's comments about Zack sitting down. Told her it's getting really hard to watch as they now have Wilson playing not to make mistakes and it's predictable and putrid...  Playing not to Lose...She got it immediately.   I agree that is one thing...

However reading further into what's not being said I re-watched yesterdays Garrett Wilson's interview with Florio and he mentions what's expected from him is different from what he had planned to do with Rodgers. To paraphrase he said that with Zack "they're working on it " which he had also mentioned after the Buffalo win  "in not having had snaps with Zack in preseason". After the Dallas loss when asked on his chemistry with Zack said "Constantly building" "It's there" He also when asked yesterday about the impact of losing Rodgers looked down and to the right, while saying "our season had a big change 15 days ago"  before saying they all deserved blame and had things to work on not just the QB.   

Unfortunately there is no time to build consistent continuity on the fly with so many influx parts to the O to begin the season... Hope I'm wrong

Like you I was hopeful that with Rogers mentoring Zack had a very good chance in a year or two. I find it very doubtful now especially with the over the top media and fan disgust going on and it will take a big win miracle showing Sunday night to change anyone's mind.   

Despite all that I'm still rooting and as always, GO JETS!!!

It goes father than that. Saleh only effort to groom Zach into an NFL Quarterback was to bring in Gregg Knapp. After Gregg's passing Saleh did ZIP SH!T. Cavanaugh RELUCTANTLY as a favor to the team. He really wanted to retire. In the 21-22 offseason we went offseason Zach Wilson hired John Beck, not Robert Saleh, not the New York Jets, but Zach Wilson that hired Beck. This past off season Saleh and Jets did nothing to work on Zach's skills and are now paying the price. Zach deserves better than that !
